The intervention group showed an estimated improvement at six weeks for the primary outcome, fatigue, of −6.8 (−12.3 to −0.9), P=0.02. Significant effects were seen on vitality for physical functioning 2,5 (-0,4 to 5,2), role physical 4,5 (-1,8 to 11,1), role emotional -0,3 (-4,0 to 3,3), and mental health 1,9 (-2,5 to 6,1) scores. Nursery ward is the safe place for premature after deliverey . It contains the basic requirements of life to him. but full of noise caused by alarms of devices, conversations of health team, ringing phones, and close the doors, exceeds what is reco mmended by the American Academy of Pediatrics in the Nursery wards 45 dBA (decibel A-weighting). Although it stimulates the autonomic system leading to physiologic instability like disorder in the level of oxygenation. We found in this study conducted on 30 premature with pre and post test, that the level of noise within first hour of non interventions reached 67.2 dBA, level of oxygenation inversely with noise level in it, and reduction of noise level under 45 dBA at second hour increases the oxygenation significantly. so we suggests to make reduce noise interventions within daily practices of nursing procedures, and subsequent research to study effect of noise on the rest of vital premature indicators.

The bleeding after delivery (Postpartum Hemorrhage-PPH) is the most important complications that occur after a natural or cesarean delivery, and represents about a quarter of maternal mortality around the world. Midwives play a basis role in preventi on of bleeding after birth. So This research aims to evaluate the knowledge of midwives about using strategies to prevention and management the bleeding after delivery. Its sample included all midwives in obstetrics departments in Alasad University, Children and Obstetric, and Tishreen University Hospital all in Lattakia city. Data were collected using a questionnaire developed by researcher. The results according to strategies used in prevention and management of bleeding after delivery showed that 60% of the level of knowledge of midwives were "inappropriate". There were significant inverse relationship (P = 0.006) between ages of midwives and level of knowledge. Also showed a significant inverse relationship between number of years of experience with the midwives and level of knowledge (P = 0.01). So we suggest conducting training sessions and educational lectures for midwives with respect to the strategies used in prevention and management of bleeding after delivery, and must evaluate the midwives information about prevention and management of bleeding after delivery periodically and continuously.

Introduction: Upper gastrointestinal system endoscopy is a safe and widely used procedure for diagnosis and treatment purposes. Endoscopic procedures can be painful and uncomfortable and patient cooperation is very important for a successful result. Anxiety and stress are common problem in patients who have to undergo an invasive medical procedure. Anxiety before upper gastrointestinal endoscopy may have adverse consequences and can sometimes hamper successful completion of the procedure. In routine practice, verbal or written communication is used to inform the patient. Mostly this information is focused on the procedure itself and its complications. Aim: To investigate the effect of showing an informative video or providing verbal group education on anxiety and intra procedural co-operation among the patients undergoing upper gastrointestinal endoscopy. Material and methods: sixty gastrointestinal endoscopy patients were randomly assigned to video (20) or verbal information (20) groups or control (20) group. Patients in the video group watched a 7-minute-long video about the necessity of the endoscopic procedure, doctor and patient cooperation, and possible complications, emphasizing the possible feelings the patients might experience. The patients' situational anxiety was measured using the State-Trait Anxiety Inventory’s two scales (STAI-State and STAI-Trait). During the procedure we evaluate the patient's co-operation degree by using the Visual Analog Scale (VAS) with the doctors. Conclusions: It can be concluded that information by video helps reduce the anxiety of the patient, increases patient co-operation and the patient is much more readily convinced to undergo another procedure, in cases where a control is needed.
