Nursing staff exposed to musculoskeletal problems associated with work while providing nursing care because of the erroneous practice of mechanical body, This study aimed to assess the level of nursing staff information about the use of mechanical body and the extent of their use of mechanical body within the nursing activities ,This study was conducted on the author of a sample of 65 nurse in surgery and internal and intensive care at University Hospital Assad where he was interviewed every nurse on the end were evaluated their knowledge by assessing information form was then assess how their use of body mechanics within specific activities in nursing care using the observational checklist , the study concluded that the level of information and practices of nursing staff about mechanical body ranged between poor and average, the study recommended the need to raise the level of information and practices of nursing staff about good mechanical body through training and educational programs and lectures.

Widespread use of chemotherapy in the treatment of cancer has lead to higher health hazards among nurses who handle and administer such drugs, so they should know how to protect themselves from effects of chemotherapy. Objective of study was to ass ess knowledge and practices of nurses for safe handling chemotherapy in latakia City. the data was collected by using questionnaire including demographic information and safe handling chemotherapy knowledge and practices and barriers of personal protective equipment . Results of this study showed there more than two to third of nurses had no knowledge that chemotherapy enter the body through contaminated foods, about practices of them more than three quarter didn't change of personnel protective barriers after contact with chemotherapy. also Results showed there a significant negative association between knowledge and practices. Moreover, It is showed there a significant negative association between practices and barriers .Most of the study sample had moderate level of knowledge and practices of safe handling chemotherapy. So it is necessary that Chemotherapy Safety health education program should be instituted for all oncology nurses who are working in oncology unit.
Chemotherapy drugs cannot tell the difference between of normal cells and cancer cells. This means normal cells are damaged and this results in side effects, This damage does not stop in the patient who receiving treatment but also extends to all e mployees in the health care sitting. Nurses are the main groups that are exposed to these drugs in hospital setting Generally, the occupational activities that pose to greatest risk of exposure are the preparation ,Transporting cytotoxic drugs, administration of antineoplastic agents, cleaning of chemotherapy spills, and handling of waste. Nurses require specialized knowledge and skills in order to ensure safety for both patients life and for their own safety of the jobs. Because of available a lot of chemotherapy guidelines we Must assess knowledge and skills nursing staff and assess the extent of their commitment to these guidelines. Objective: The objectives of this study were to assessment of knowledge and skill of oncology nurses in chemotherapy administration.
The aim of the research was to evaluate the role of the head nurses in documenting, evaluating and reviewing the performance of nursing staff at Tishreen University Hospital from the point of view of nursing staff. Random sample was used , it consi sted of 50% of the nursing staff at Tishreen University Hospital during the application of the research there number (300 ) nurses. A developed tool for collecting information was used based on recent research literature, and data were collected and analyzed using SPSS version (20). The most important results were that the evaluation of the role of the head nurses was at moderate level in documenting and evaluating the performance of the nursing staff, while the evaluation of the research sample for the role of the head nurses in reviewing their performance was at a good level.
The purpose of our study is to assess the nurse's knowledge, attitudes and practices at the hospital toward child maltreatment. The sample contains \200\ nurses who were interviewed, received questionnaires, working in emergency departments at six ho spitals distributed in Damascus, Lattakia, Tartous. Results show: Knowledge deficiency about problem particularly when scientific qualification level decreases; Knowledge was not affected by age, sex, experience range, salary. Nurses' attitudes were neutral. Attitudes were affected by experience range, scientific qualification level, knowledge level, violence through childhood, but were not affected by age, sex, salary. Most of them didn’t practice nursing care toward child violence. Nursing practices were not affected by their attitudes or violence through childhood. More than half did not receive violence through childhood. We recommend teaching nurses everything that is related to the subject, finding integration work team that can deal with violent clients at the hospital, activating the hospital's special laws which deal with violent children, searching to discover other problems from which nursing suffers.
This study aimed to identify the relationship of occupational stress and psychological security among the nursing staff in the province of Al-Sweida, and detect gender differences in performance on the Standards of professional pressures and psych ological security, and to achieve the objectives of the study were applied to the sample composed of 96 male and female nurses in a number of the hospitals and the health centers in province Al-Sweida, and the use of computer software spss 20 to extract arithmetic means , variances and correlation coefficients.
