Fatigue is one ofthemostimportant and common side effectamong cancer patient
under chemotherapy. Objective:the study aimed is to study the effect back, hand and foot
massage on fatigue levelto cancer patient under chemotherapy.Material and method:t
he
study was conducted of (75) patients were adult male divided on five groups (back
massage, hand massage, foot massage,[back, hand and foot massage] and control group)
atchemotherapy unit, Tishreen University Hospital, and all of them are under
chemotherapy. Data collected by the personal information form, the fatigue severity scale
was used. Results:This study showed that back, hand and foot massage together was the
most effective in reduce fatigue levels and recommended about importance of massage for
patients under chemotherapy.
Tensile and bending tests modeling have been undertaken for various welded joints
which were different in shape and design. Also, the hot spot stress was calculated at critical
failure areas using the finite elements analysis method. There was a go
od similarity
between experimentally defined critical areas in certain certified literature and those in our
modeling. It appeared that the information listed in the international institute for welding
(IIW) in regards of hot spot stress method gives relatively accurate values for the welded
joints possibility to endure fatigue loading and keep their desired mechanical properties
even those joints that could fail only at the connecting area with the base metal.
In this article we present a new and effective method to Estimate the static fatigue age for
springs, when it works by static load or static strain for a long time at deferent
temperature, this case is very important because the spring is a battery
for force and it must
save allow value of the force.
At the first we present a theory study for “creep and relaxation “and how we can accelerate
the test to get the results, then we suggest method to accelerate the test to know when the
spring retch to the minimum allowable value of the force at work temperature degree, this
method depend on tests at samples at deferent temperature degrees, higher than work and
storage temperature, and then use the results to estimate the static fatigue age for springs at
real storage and work temperature.
