Agricultural development projects are a vital and effective tool in achieving the goal of comprehensive development, and the most effective way to improve rural life in all its fields, especially when development projects target poor rural househo lds. The research has intended to identify the social impact of livestock development project, It was conducted on small livestock farmers In the Midland Area , A random sample was used to include (11) villages in Homs governorate and two villages in Hama governorate. The sample size was 75 beneficiaries.
The volatile oil of Anthemis scariosa was studied in environmentally different regions distributed on five locations in the provinces of Homs and Hama, in order to determine the quantity and quality and effect of the surrounding environment, on th e volatile oil specifications. The plants were gathered during tow phonological phases of the life of the plant included the vegetative growth stage- the full of flowering stage. It was then extracted through water extraction method. It was found that the highest percentage of volatile oil was recorded in Al-hamra location at the full of the flowering stage during the 2013 season.
The research aims to study the economic efficiency of refrigerators apples in the central region of Syria average seasons (2011-2012) and (2012-2013), through the study of the costs of establishing and running refrigerators, as well as to see its r evenues in the two seasons.The study relied on access to the costs of establishing and running Brad apples on a questionnaire addressed to the owner of the storage facility 196 and cooling the apple crop. It was estimated by both economic efficiency and profitability and changing asset turnover rate and the time of rotation for each of the coolers and refrigerators short area west of the Central Region. This study was conducted in two areas: Misyaf in Hama governorate and Alshaikhbader in the governorate of Tartous to identify some of economic and social effects of animal production projects carried out by rural woman who had a loan for it. The p rimary data were collected during the period 2012-2013 from a random sample (23 villages in Misyaf, and 13 villages in Alshaikhbader). Size of the sample was calculated according to Morgan law so that 243 rural women were valid for analysis. The results showed a high percentage of successful projects which had an economic and social impact for 91.8% of respondents and these projects had the following effects: 57.2% of targeted families stated that there was a rise in their spending on food, 92.2% of them confirmed the improvement of their food quality. Enhancement in quality and quantity of their clothes and increasing their ability to take family’s related decisions declared by 61.7% and 44% of respondents respectively. About 90.5% of rural women were able to make project’s related decisions and 85.6% of targeted women acknowledged a rise in self trust after the implementation of the project. The results also showed that there was a significant relationship between each of employment status before having the loan, project’s annual income and the dependent variable: rural woman’s successful project (at level of significance 1%) by using Logistic Equation. It was concluded that micro finance projects had a good impact on empowerment of rural women and activating their economic and social role. The projects also increased the family income and improving the living situation.
