The study aims to explore the viewpoint of Irbid Private University’s students about time management, including planning, organizing, directing and supervising, and its impact on their academic achievement. This study also aims to identify personal variables influencing time management as well as reasons and obstacles hindering the students’ academic achievement. The present study aimed to investigate the relationship between learning strategies and Academic achievement as well as to explore the differences in the level of these strategies due to gender and student’s academic achievement level. Sample of t he research consisted of (85) male and female students. Learning strategies questionnaire of Arbor (1989) which was translated into Arabic by BaAbad and Mari” (1996) was used.Results of the research indicated that there was an intermediate level for using learning strategies among the sample, with a sign of decreased level in the strategies of learning resources. Also there were no statistically significant differences related to gender of students in the academic achievement although there was significant positive correlation between academic achievement and motivation strategies for learning, but not significantly correlated with the other dimension.
The aim of the current research is to explore the relationship between academic selfregulation and in a sample of students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Education at Damascus University, in addition to knowledge of the diff erences in both academic self-regulation and due to specialization and sex (males and females). The sample consisted of (115) male and female students with 62 students from the Faculty of Education and (53) males from the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The number of male and female students was( 59 females and 56 students. . For this purpose, the measure of academic self-regulation was used, after verifying their sincerity and persistence with the sample members of the current study. This study aims at examining the relationship of fluid intelligence, as measured by the standard progressive matrices test (SPM PlUS) with some personality traits as measured by personal Eysenk scale of the personality, within a sample of students at the University of Damascus composed of 498 students, including 205 males and 293 females, and from theoretical and practical disciplines .
The research aims to study the reality of information infrastructure in October, including the University of libraries contained in both paper and electronic networks and laboratories, and the study of information awareness to undergraduate students at this university. The researcher used descriptive analytical method, and relying on random sampling and stratified proportional distribution is the distribution of the research sample the (397) students on university faculties, and using appropriate statistical methods was reached following results: 1- The results showed that the level of information awareness, and effective use of information among undergraduate students at the University of October is generally a high level, but there is limited variation at this level also showed differences and test results mean coefficient values. 2- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students between faculties of Tishreen University. 3- There are significant differences in the level of information literacy of undergraduate students caused by the number of skilled languages.
