This paper provides a major challenge, Because of many bad conditions that effect oil pipelines properties, this paper discuss the ability of manufacturing and applying the 3D woven spacer composite fabric for insulating oil pipelines. This paper talks over the thermal, chemical, and mechanical properties of the final product from the 3D Spacer Fabric and the polymer resin matrix. And finally, this paper gives an idea how and with any kind of weaving machines these fabrics can be made.
This paper discusses improveming of the methods of computerized measurements by using some practical examples in the field of automation of flow, and pressure and level measurements and data logging. Tnis work has been done on an experimental station, which has been developed specifically for this paipose. It is a multi purpose station for training on automation of measuring techniques in industrial processes
Corrosion is the most important problem in the process of oil production, Its results are: sudden fracture, high economic cost and great loss in oil equipment. Appropriate solutions have been suggested to extend the life of facilities, and to avoid c orrosion phenomenon which may get the facility out of service, But, finding the main reasons causing this phenomenon, and studying the factors that contribute to increase or reduce the spread of corrosion requires more urgent attention. In this paper, the data of the pressure has been analyzed in three crude oil pipelines and focus was on the values during the days where changes were irregular. In the same period, the study of internal corrosion rate was being done, using weight loss method. It has been noticed that when the value of pressure is greater than 2 Mpa, the internal corrosion rate will be above the maximum. allowable limit which is 4 mil per year (MPY), while the internal corrosion rate will be within the acceptable range when the pressure is not greater than 1 Mpa.
Hydraulic drives are able to generate high forces and move large loads. With the help of proportional valves, it is possible to control movements fast and accurately. Depending on the application, a linear cylinder, a rotary cylinder or a rotary mo tor are used. Linear cylinders are most frequently used. The following designs are therefore confined to this type of drive. We compare among various types of cylinders which are common by used. We compared different conditions for cylinders with friction and without it.
We discussed in this research improvement of the methods of computerized simulation with practical examples in the field of automation of technical processes. The work has been done on an experimental station, which has been developed specially for t his reason. It is a multi- purpose station for training on automation of industrial processes using a data acquisition system and program for procuring data and preparing the suitable diagrams .
This work is assigned to study the influence of different interaction potential forms on the pressure and internal energy of crystalline argon along its isothermal curves at high temperatures, expanded from melting point temperature up to room temp erature at different molar volume values expanded up to its value, corresponded experimental equilibrium curves with gaseous and liquid phases within the framework of quasi-classical approximation. The pair-wise inter-atomic forces in conjunction with three-body forces were taken into consideration. The results of this study regarding the pressure and internal energy of crystalline Argon were compared with available experimental data. The comparison clearly indicates that the calculated results coincide well with the experimental results.
