We present a tool that provides automated feedback to students studying Spanish writing. The feedback is given for four categories: topic development, coherence, writing conventions, and essay organization. The tool is made freely available via a Goo
gle Docs add-on. A small user study with third-level students in Mexico shows that students found the tool generally helpful and that most of them plan to continue using it as they work to improve their writing skills.
The ultimate goal of this study is to enhance the cultural competence of the Syrian
students at both the school and university phases throughout the teaching of English. The
first part of this study provides what many researchers think about the ro
les of the textbook
and the teacher in strengthening the relationship between the learner and his/her own
culture and/or the other cultures including the target culture. In the second part of this
study, an analysis from a cultural perspective of the Syrian context is provided. This
analysis focuses on the English language textbooks used at the Syrian schools and at
Tishreen university. Then it moves to both the Syrian teachers and leaners. The last part of
this study gives some suggestions that could be helpful in strengthening the cultural
awareness in the Syrian educational system.
This research shows linguistic approach by Al
Sameen Al Halabi (- A.H ) which he followed in
his book ( Al dur Al masoon fi ouloom Al kitab Al
maknon), which is considered an encyclopaedia in
readings , parsing , and morphology regarding the
Holy Qur'an .

and his manner in the discussion of citation of the
sides which he sees them rightly .

This paper is concerned mainly with an unprecedented phenomenon,
which deserves more examination and analysis: it is the Fatimid writers’
tendency toward finding a the interrelation between poetry and prose, and
showing how far their memorization
of poetry and prose effects the
emergence of this phenomenon. Therefore, this paper attempts at
unraveling three important aspects: first, identifying the concept, the
beginnings of the interrelation; second, the genres of the interaction
between a poem and a letter; third, the leitmotivs of the interrelation
between a poem and a letter in the writings of Fatimid writers.
