The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the training programs on reducing production costs. The result is that increasing the training courses of the workers leads to reduction Production costs by reducing the number of units in the production process. This is explained by the data obtained from the training records and the production cost , The study concluded that the number of participants in the training courses is small compared to the size of the factory. The most important recommendations are the need to establish a special section for training and its introduction within the organizational structure of the factory.

Training is a way of improving the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations. ISO
10015/1999 is concerned with training quality and improving work methods through five
stages: (1) identifying training needs, (2) designing training plans, (3) im
plementation, (4)
evaluating the results, (5) and monitoring and improving performance. The purpose of this
study is to reveal the extent of standards application (ISO10015/1999) in training programs
at Syrian General Organization of Tobacco (GOT) to show the gaps and weaknesses in the
training practice at the GOT as per the requirements of the specification to be applied,
through a gap analysis to determine the implemented and unimplemented requirements of
ISO 10015 standards seeking best performance. This helps to achieve the goals of GOT
efficiently.
The study concluded that GOT achieves many requirements set out in the
specification, with considerable weakness of monitoring and improvement.
The research aims to show the importance of the application of
International Standard ISO 17025: 2005 to adjust the general
requirements of the test laboratories efficiency. The importance of
this international standard by giving great importance
to the test
methods and calibration, which stressed the need for the
documented methods to carry out tests and analyzes and operation
of devices, and that it leads to work systematically and preserve the
expertise & documenting them and discover the analytical
problems and resolve them.

The paper arrived at a set of conclusions which show that implementation of quality management in the company is by a large margin in conformity with the international standard ISO (9001: 2008), with some gaps in that the company is not guided by guidance stebs ISO (19011: 2002) when conducting internal audit on the quality system.
Fever is a common problem in intensive care unit (ICU) patients, A large proportion
of patients admitted to the ICU are likely to develop fever of unknown origin at some point
of their stay there. Objective: This study aimed to compare between the
effects of the
application of iced gastric lavage with the application of ice packs to reduce the
temperature among critically ill patients. Material and methods: the study was conducted
of (40) critically ill patients at ICU department at Al Assad University Hospital and Al
Wattani Hospital in Latakia city whose were intubated and there temperature degree
ranged from 39 °C to 40 °C lasting for more than 30 minutes ago. The sample was
randomly divided into two experimental groups. Two tools were used to collect data.
Results: This study showed that iced gastric lavage is more effective than using iced
packs to reduce the temperature among critically ill patients.
Recommendations: this study recommended to Apply iced gastric lavage alone or
with other methods to reduce the temperature degree among critically ill patients.
