This research focuses on optimising the traffic control at ( Al- TARBYA) signalised intersection in Homs city to improve its capacity and the Level Of Service (LOS). The importance of this research comes from analysing the movement of vehicles, pedestrians, the intersection geometry, signal phasing plan on the intersection, and referring to some problems affects the intersection in order to get the best improvement to traffic movement at the aforementioned intersection.

The research aims to identify the level of decision-making skills of
managers of special kindergartens in the province of Homs .

The aim of this search is to detect the level of the intelligence, the spread rate of the natural and artificial breastfeeding at sample individuals, and determining the differences at the level of intelligence between the children who had natural br
eastfeeding and the children who had artificial breastfeeding. The sample includes (260) schoolboys and schoolgirls from the third and sixth grade, and uses the GoodEnough′s Test for man drawing. The results varied between the males and the females as to the levels of the intelligence – they were in favor of males, and the spread rate of the natural breastfeeding was more than the spread rate of the artificial breastfeeding. However, there were no differences with statistical indications between the children who had natural breastfeeding and the children who had artificial breastfeeding in the Intelligence Test at the indication level (0.05).
The evaluation of the capacity of signalized intersections is one of the most important
parameter used in the planning, design, operation and management of urban street
networks. The calculation of capacity depends on the estimation of the saturati
on flow of
the signalized intersections.
The highway Capacity Manual (HCM 2010) is used to estimate and analyze the saturation
flow. This method is widely used in many countries around the world, including Syria. It
reflects the local conditions in the United States of America; therefore it may not be
suitable for use in our local conditions.
This study includes estimation of the field saturation flow depending on the headways
between the vehicles in the queues, and comparing the field results of the saturation flow
with the values resulting from using the HCM. The study was conducted on three
intersections in the Tartous city. The analysis was based on data collection using video.
The final results confirmed that there is a clear difference between the field measurement
of the saturation flow and computation value, Which confirms that it cannot be used for
our local conditions.
The research aims to analyze the reality of the health service in the Syrian private
hospitals in Lattakia City; by answering the following questions:
* What is the level of the health service in hospitals in terms of the availability of the
follo
wing basic dimensions: Tangibility, empathy, responsiveness, assurance and security,
reliability and credibility?
* What is the impact of the dimensions of health service quality in customer
satisfaction?
The survey form was designed and distributed to (105) customer of the patients who
checked in private hospitals in Lattakia City, where a convenience sample was chosen.
The results of research indicated, that there is a good understanding of the following
dimensions: Tangibility, empathy, responsiveness, and assurance and security between
members of the research sample. The study results also indicated that there is a significant
and positive effect of (empathy and emphasize security and reliability) dimensions on
customer satisfaction as dependent variable, which the regression model explained (80%)
of the differences in customer satisfaction, while Tangibility and speed of response did not
affect customer satisfaction as a dependent variable.
It may be difficult, often, finding the cycle intersection of two
curves in the projective plane. Therefore, in our paper, we have
mentioned a new mechanism to find it which was represented by
S.N algorithm that works on writing this intersection
as sum of
simple cycle intersections which is easy to find. On the other
hand, by this algorithm we mentioned a new and simplified proof
of the known Bezout’s theorem.
