This study aimed to identify social anxiety and its relationship with self-esteem of pupils in the first stage of basic education in the city of Homs, and know the difference of sexes in their performance on each of the social anxiety scale and th e self-esteem scale; to achieve these goals has been applied study consisting of 426 sample male and female, from the first stage of basic education pupils, the use of SPSS17 computer program to find averages, "ttest",and correlation coefficients.
The research aimed to identify The level of teachers' practice of psychological and social climate management skills, and the level of classroom discipline problems from the perspective of teachers themselves. And to know the relationship between t hem. The descriptive approach was used to verify the validity of the research hypotheses. The study sample consisted of (89) teachers of the basic education/ first stage in Tartous city for the year 2016/2017, based on a questionnaire constructed by the researcher for this purpose. Which consists of two areas (management of psychological and social climate - classroom discipline problems) after verifying the validity and reliability, and a statistical program for educational and psychological (spss) was used. The research reached the following results: The mean value of the psychological and social climate management field was (4.2165) with a standard deviation (27456). It is a high value within a scale that "always". The degree of prevalence of class discipline problems was law. The average value was (1.9363) with a standard deviation (47,493), There is a strong inverse relationship between practicing psychosocial and social climate management skills and class discipline problems. The researcher concludes a number of suggestions like: preparing and training students teachers on the positive classroom discipline skills, to prevent behavioral problems and raise their level of managing the psychological and social climate in the classroom, conducting more studies about the subject.
The research aims at disclosing the relationship between the existential concept and the internal-external locus of control for the teachers of basic education in the city of Homs. The research community consists of basic education teachers in Hom s city during the second semester of the academic year 2014 – 2015. The research sample is formed of 352 male and female teachers selected randomly from Homs city schools. The researcher used the test of existential concept as well as Rotter’s Scale of Internal-External Locus of Control. The research tools have been limited to Syrian society. The research aimed to identify the level of creative thinking skills (fluency, flexibility, originality, whole degree) among basic fourth class students in Latakia, in the light of gender. To achieve this purpose, the researcher used Torrance test of creative thinking-vocabulary form (A). The sample consisted of (255) students (125 males and130 females)selected by using random sampling method, from several schools in Latakia, The results showed weakness in the level of creative thinking among basic fourth class students. The average of degrees were(the whole degree95.21, fluency 46.85, flexibility 28.27,and originality 20.08), The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences in each skill of creative thinking (fluency, originality, and whole degree) due to gender, but there were statistically significant differences in degree of flexibility in favor of females. In the light of the findings, the study suggested merging the skills of creative thinking in curriculum, and teaching these skills independently, fasten training session to teachers to habituation them on development of creative thinking during the class teaching, and setting up tests to measure creative thinking skills codified in Syrian environment, and conducting new researches focusing on creative thinking (from where measuring and development him) in different school levels, with using other variables.
The aim of this study was to determine the correlation between adolescent identity formation and neuroticism. The sample size of the study was 183 adolescents, 92 male students and 91 female students from the city of Homs.
