Monitoring Urban Expansion of Homs City and its surrounding Using Remote Sensing &Geographic Information System between (1972-2010)

This study was related to the urban development of Homs City and its surrounding between 1972 – 2010 by using remote sensing technique and geographic information system. The results of the study indicated that the size of the city was increased 600% times , randomly and eliminating most of crop lands.

The Existential Concept and Its Relationship with the Internal & External Locus of Control, Supported with a Study Covering a Sample of Basic Education Teachers in Homs City

The research aims at disclosing the relationship between the existential concept and the internal-external locus of control for the teachers of basic education in the city of Homs. The research community consists of basic education teachers in Homs city during the second semester of the academic year 2014 – 2015. The research sample is formed of 352 male and female teachers selected randomly from Homs city schools. The researcher used the test of existential concept as well as Rotter’s Scale of Internal-External Locus of Control. The research tools have been limited to Syrian society. Moreover, the validity and reliability of the tools have been verified prior to practical application of the research.

Guilt and personal relationship with obsessive compulsive disorder (Field study on a sample of workers in the field of psychological support and social service in Homs)

The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between guilt and personal disorder obsessive compulsive among workers in the field of psychological support and social service, and the disclosure of the differences between respondents in both the guilt and personal disorder obsessive compulsive according to gender, the study was conducted on (200) young men and women workers in the field of social and psychological support service, the researcher used the test to feel guilty (the researcher) and testing of personal obsessive compulsive disorder (the researcher).
