The research aims to identify the level of the special needs of parents of children with Down Syndrome in the province of Damascus, and the knowledge of the differences in the level oftheir needs, according to the variables (sex, educational level, monthly income).
The search aims for the study of the positions of parents and kindergarten teachers on intergration of special needs children at kindergarten. Besides, the search is on for reavel the different opinions between parents and kindergarten teachers The sample included(60)teachers divided over fifteen kindergartens in Homs, (30)children parents, and, (30)special needs children parents.The searcher prepared a questionnaire with /27/ items divided over three main fields: Personality, Education and Relationship.It was verified of the stability of the questionnaire. It was concluded with following results: -There are statistical variation between teacher attitudes and the attitudes of parents of special needs children in the process of intgeration in kindergarten at the level of significant of 5% in favour of parent special needs children in the field of education rather than the personality and relationship. -There are not any statistical variations between the attitudes of teachers and the attitudes of parents of good children in the process of intergration in kindergarden at the level of significans of 5% -There are statistical variation between the attitudes of parents of special needs children and the attitudes of parents of good children in the process of intergration in kindergarden at the level of significant of 5% in favour of parent special needs children in the field of education rather than the personality and relationship. Finally, the search concluded a set of proposals.
The goal of the present research is to uncover the most used methods of punishment by teachers to adjust the behavior of students with intellectual disabilities: the method of corporal punishment, Time-out, the method of verbal reprimand and non-verb al, cost Response method. The aim of the research is to detect differences among teachers in the use of methods of punishment to control the behavior of students with intellectual disabilities in the light of some of the variables (sex of the teacher, the number of years of experience, academic qualifications, age, to undergo training courses). The study sample consisted of (70) teachers of students with mental disabilities. The research found the following results: 1- All teachers use the methods of punishment to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities and the methods of punishment was the order of most used to least frequently used as follows: cost response method, the method of Time-out, the method of verbal reprimand and non-verbal method, corporal punishment. 2- There are no statistically significant differences in the methods of punishment used to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities due to the variable of sex of the teacher. 3- There is no statistically significant differences in the methods of punishment used to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities due to the variable number of years of experience, except where the method of Time-out found significant differences in favor of teachers who have more experience than ten years. 4- There is no statistically significant differences in the methods of punishment used to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities due to the variable of educational qualification, except where the cost response method, and there wene statistically significant differences in favor of teachers who obtained the diploma. 5- There are no statistically significant differences in the meth ods of punishment used to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities due to the variable age of the teacher. 6- There are no statistically significant differences in the methods of punishment used to control the behavior of students with mental disabilities due to the variable of undergoing training courses.
The research aims to identify the level of basic education teachers the ability (ninth grade) schools in the province of Damascus on the survey design experiments. And know the differences in the level of ability to survey experiments to science due to the variables of research design: (qualification, years of experience, a course of study).
Since 2011, Syrian Arab soldiers have been facing a daily terrorist war, that targets the Syrian State with all its components: land, people and infrastructure A matter that exposes them to war injuries like Kinetic disability (amputation ,paralysi s) resulting from explosions, fragments and live bullets and this imposes a set of body needs . Through this descriptive study that investigated the body needs of 197 Kinetic – disability infected soldier since the beginning of 2011 until 8/2014 who have been registered in Zahi Azrak Military Hospital in Lattakia , using a study- suitable and reliability sings questionnaire developed by the researcher, we found that 58.9% of the soldier are paralysed (73.3% of which are lower-limb paralysed), 41,1% amputated (67.9% a lower-limb amputated) . the level of motion, activity, moving, treatment, medicine, sleep and rest was intermediate, while the level of nutrition and self-treatment was low. Therefore, this study suggests designing and implementing educational programs to all community levels to make the needs of the disabled soldier Known, and establishing specialized centers to rehabilitate them and providing their needs of treatment and amendments, and legislating regulations to provide environments to facilitate their moves, and it also recommends working out a research to investigate all factors that influence meeting the body needs of the Kinetic disabled soldiers .
