The study deals with the beginning and development of the central library in Damascus University and its departments. And it illuminates the periodicals part, and its ability to fulfill the needs of Information students in Damascus University, and its role in supporting the scientific research. It also reviews results of questionnaire performed by a researcher to know the ability of periodicals in fulfilling the demands of the information students in the university. It comes up to a set of results, recommendations and suggestions.

The medical and pharmaceutical education is witnessing a real revolution with
the emergence of computer-assisted learning and internet-mediated education as new tools in selfeducation.
Investigating knowledge, skills and attitudes of pharmacy faculty students at Damascus University in
relation to the use of information and communication technology (ICT).
The aim of the research is to find out the usage reality of postgraduate
students at Damascus University of digital libraries.
In light of the variables:(Gender, Scientific major, getting training
courses).
The research methodology:A descriptive
analyticalapproach.
The researcher designed &prepared the research tool which is a
questionnaire that was applied on a random sample consisting of (40)
postgraduates (male & female) in different faculties of Damascus University.
The study reached the following results:
- There is a statistically significant difference at the significance level of
(0,05)between the mean scores of postgraduate students in the faculties of
Damascus University of the following variables: Concentration.
-There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level
of(0,05) between the mean scores of postgraduate students in the facultiesof
Damascus University of the following variables: Gender.
-There is no statistically significant difference at the significance level of
(0,05)between the mean scores of postgraduate students in the colleges of
Damascus University of the following variables: getting training courses.
The current research aims to identify the nature of the relationship
between psychological security and self-confidence among a
sample of students from the Faculty of Education at the University
of Damascus, according to the variables of gender (male, female),
and a course of study (psychology, psychological counseling,
modern education) among a sample search.
The Internet is an increasingly popular medium for delivering
educational material.
The aim of this study was to determine the attitudes of
students to the use of the Internet within a dental school in Damascus
University.
Questionnaires were di
stributed to undergraduate dental students
in the third and fourth clinical years. All students have access to computers
and Internet at the university.
The aim of this research is to know the differences among the
students of higher studies in Damascus University, faculty of Education
towards the evaluation of their teachers and to reveal the students' most

riable of gender, specialization, the
type of direction, and university. The research also presents some
suggestion in the light of its results. The researcher made questionnaire
consisting of 57 items revolving around three axes. The questionnaire has
been applied on a sample of 59 higher studies students of both genders
and of different specializations.
