The Internet is an increasingly popular medium for delivering
educational material.
The aim of this study was to determine the attitudes of
students to the use of the Internet within a dental school in Damascus
University.
Questionnaires were di
stributed to undergraduate dental students
in the third and fourth clinical years. All students have access to computers
and Internet at the university.
Maritime transport is considered to be one of the most liberal and open industries having really complicated and sophisticated market systems. This sector is prominent in international spread and intensive in capital.
It significantly contributed to
the development of international
economy in general and to economic globalization in particular.
Maritime transport is known for embracing almost all new trends in information technology and telecommunication in which they have become the basic features that characterize the global maritime transport sector and essential factors to enhance and upgrade the capacity of seaports due to maritime need to speed in shipping and the follow up of shipments across the countries as well as accuracy and safety in the completion of loading and unloading inside the ports.
This research deals with information and communication
technology and its application in lattakia port in which study the real condition of IT in lattakia port with an analysis of the information system applied in lattakia international container terminal (Lict) and its utilization in internal and operational processes and the possibility to benefit from it in lattakia port.
Based on the results, this research will offer some recommendations to accelerate the automation of all joints of work at lattakia port to achieve an integrated electronic management of the port of lattakia.
This study examined the actual status of masturbation and its relationship
to social activity, sexual stimuli, and means to avoid such practice.
A total of 422 medical students in Damascus University, age distribution
were (18-26 year).A questionn
aire had been distributed involved questions
related to the study.
Questions divided in 4 subjects: the first is about the general sexual stimuli,
the second is studying masturbation especially. The third is about risks of
masturbation in general, fourthly is the risks somatic and affective of
masturbation.
The study deals with the beginning and development of the central
library in Damascus University and its departments. And it illuminates
the periodicals part, and its ability to fulfill the needs of Information
students in Damascus University, and
its role in supporting the scientific
research. It also reviews results of questionnaire performed by a
researcher to know the ability of periodicals in fulfilling the demands of
the information students in the university. It comes up to a set of results,
recommendations and suggestions.
The research know the degree of possession of educational
technology skills of faculty members at the University of Damascus;
and the role of a variable both sex, and competence of the academic
university, and the number of years of experience in the possession
of educational technology skills.
