In this research work, the performance of the measurement system (TDLAS) has been improved, it was connected to the computer for acquisition and processing data using the programming language MatLab. The internal surface of the cavity was coated by p
araffin wax, adsorption is significantly lowered.
This system has been employed to measure the concentration of ammonia in exhaled breath for 20 healthy volunteers in two cases (fasting and non-fasting), and 36 volunteers with chronic renal disease (before hemodialysis).
Fluorescence spectroscopy has long been one of the most useful
bio-physical techniques available to scientists studying the
structure and function of biological tissues due to high sensitivity
of fluorescence signal to variations of optical properties of tissues
as a result of structural variations.
In this research, we have done Theoretical study, how to use
perturbation theory in order to obtain approximate solutions of the
time dependent Schrödinger equation.
We also considered application of time dependent perturbation theory to case where the
atomic quantum system interacts with electromagnetic radiation.
In this study, we have investigated the water absorption behavior of unsaturated
polyester /wood flour wastes composites materials. To achieve that, specimens were
prepared by using compressing method with different ratio of polymer matrix with org
anic
wastes produced from carpentry workshop (wood flour).Density of produced panels has
been measured and the obtained results showed that there is an ability to produce
hardindustrial wood panels. Practical experiments had been achieved to determine the
percentages of water absorption. Absorption test was achieved on the cut specimens by
immersing them in natural water (un-distilled) and measuring the gained weight of
specimens and the resulted swelling to determine the final changes in the product. Through
this study, we find that the absorbability has increased with the increment of organic filler
ratio and the practices sizes increment. In addition, we also find that the absorption
behavior follow Fickian law of diffusion in most specimens. We calculated the diffusion
coefficient D and other parameters of diffusion process and we also plotted the associated
plotsof the absorbability results. The obtained results showed that there is an ability to
produce planes of industrial wood without any pretreatment of wood flour.
Telmisartan is an antihypertensive drug that inhibits angiotensin II
receptors type AT1. Studies showed drug interactions with different
potentials. This study was intended to investigate the role of some
active ingredients acting on influx, efflu
x and metabolizing
enzymes in intestinal absorption of telmisartan prior to hepatic-pass
effect. Intestinal perfusion with venous sampling technique was
applied in rats by perfusing telmisartan in intestinal lumen, and
measuring its concentration and amount versus time.
This paper presents an experimental study to determine the physical and
some other important properties of certain waste materials, in order to
identify the appropriate field of their recycling. The experiments have
been carried out using five proposed materials, namely: corn cob, peanut
peel, straw, pine cone, and sticks of the stem Thistle Syrian plants.
The samples of bee pollen were collected from inside and outside
the honey beehives of apiaries situated in five different locations of
Latakia; Al-Qardahah, Al-Haffeh, Jableh, Latakia city and Eastern
Entryway to Latakia during the autumn in 2014
. The
concentrations of three heavy metals, zinc (Zn), lead (Pb), cadmium
(Cd) were determined in pollen by using atomic absorption.
This study was conducted to determine some heavy minerals in different types of
canned meat sold in the domestic market. Most of those cans were imported and processed
in different countries and they have different brands. The chosen samples after
ashing were
prepared by using concentrated extra pure Nitric and Hydrochloric acids .The ratios of the
minerals )pb , Cd , Ni , Zn , Cu , Mn , Fe ( were determined by Atomic Absorption
Spectrophotometry , and the content was expressed as (p.p.m) wet weight. It was observed
that the levels of Lead, Iron, and Cadimum, in all different samples were higher than the
permitted limlts according to the Syrian Standards . The Cu level in both , tuna and sardine
was within the permitted limits, but it was higher in the chicken Lunchoen. The level of
Zinc was within the permitted limits according to the Syrian standards. The highest ratio of
Lead was observed in the sardine imported from Morocco which was 8.765 p.p.m and in
the Lunchoen processed in Syria which was 5.18 p.p.m ,and both ratios are much higher
than the permitted limits according to the Syrian Standards.
The present study aimed to early embryonic diagnose death in 46
bitchs. Blood samples were collected at the, 20th, 25th, 30th, 35th day
after ovulation.
In this study, the concentration of Pb and Cd was determined in some agricultural
products in order to compare this concentration and to know the capacity of these products
to accumulate these two elements. The samples were digested by nitric acid
and the
elements were determined by the atomic absorption spectroscopy. The results showed that
the concentration of lead and cadmium in protected products was less than the
concentration in unprotected products, and the concentration of lead was more than the
cadmium, these results can be explained by the extensive use of lead and the unprotected
agriculture products were exposed to the air pollution more than the protected products.
