The study sought to determine the effectiveness of a training program based on the theory of cognitive flexibility in developing some habits of productive mind and preferred learning methods among female student teachers, by identifying the level of
habits of mind necessary for female student teachers in kindergartens and their preferred learning methods, and determining the procedures of the training program based on the theory of cognitive flexibility. To study its effectiveness in developing some habits of the productive mind and to know the percentage of the contribution of the habits of the productive mind to their preferred learning methods, so the study followed the quasi-experimental approach by designing two equal groups (control and experimental), by preparing a scale of the sixteen habits of the productive mind according to Costa & Kallick’s list. (2009) and a measure of productive mind habits necessary for female kindergarten students, and applying Felder and Silverman’s preferred learning styles scale (Index of learning style, 1999), on a purposive sample consisting of (46) female kindergarten students from the third year because they are in the intermediate learning stage according to the theory. Cognitive flexibility, as the sample represents 20% of the research population, and the results of the study revealed a low level of six habits of the productive mind in the sample: perseverance, control of recklessness, flexibility of thinking, creativity, continuous learning, and striving for accuracy. The sample’s learning preferences also varied between... Methods of processing, perception, input and thinking. The results showed the effectiveness of the training program based on the theory of cognitive flexibility in developing the necessary productive mind habits for kindergarten students. The results also revealed the contribution of productive mind habits to preferences for learning methods, as the habits of the productive mind individually predict preferred learning methods in proportion. It ranges from 31% to 64% in the post-measurement, and the six habits of the productive mind contribute together over time, as they predict preferred learning methods by rates ranging from 18% to 63.8%, with the exception of the processing style, of which the creativity habit predicted 34%. Some Recommendations in light of these results.
This study recruited 51 elders aged 53-74 to discuss their daily activities in focus groups. The transcribed discourse was analyzed using the Chinese version of LIWC (Lin et al., 2020; Pennebaker et al., 2015) for cognitive complexity and dynamic lan
guage as well as content words related to elders' daily activities. The interruption behavior during the conversation was also coded and analyzed. After controlling for education, gender and age, the results showed that cognitive flexibility performance was accompanied by the increasing adoption of dynamic language, insight words and family words. These findings serve as the basis for predicting elders' cognitive flexibility through their daily language use.
This work aims to find approximate relationships to calculate the static durability of ball valve disc valves, based on material resistance and flexibility theory. Three groups were obtained, and these groups represent three mathematical charts, each
of which corresponds to specific relationships obtained to calculate the stresses generated in the dish.
The aim of this study was to study the relationship between support and support of senior
management and flexibility of higher education organizations. A questionnaire was
distributed to a random sample of senior management at Tishreen University,
Arab
Academy for Science and Technology, Maritime Transport (20), and a second
questionnaire on a sample of scientific scientists Each of the two universities amounted to
(327) workers.
The study concluded that the higher education organizations under study apply the
principle of supporting and supporting the senior management well, and the higher
education organizations studied the flexibility in an acceptable manner, where all the
changes took place, and by relying on the T test for two independent samples using the
SPSS program, The impact of supporting and supporting senior management as one of the
tools of TQM on flexibility as one of the dimensions of competitive advantage of higher
education organizations under study.
This research aims to investigate the nature of the correlated relationship between
mindfulness and resilience, as well as to investigate these differences according to the
gender variable. The Kentucky Inventory of Mindfulness (prepared by Baer, G
regory, and
Allen, 2004) and Resilience Scale (prepared by Connor and Davidson, 2003), both
translated into Arabic by Al-Assemi, have been used. The sample consisted of (40) 3th year
undergraduate students of Counseling Department (2nd Faculty of Education in Damascus
University). The concluded results are:
1. There is a statistically significant relationship between observing and resilience
dimensions: hardiness, resourcefulness, and purpose, as well as the total score of resilience.
Moreover, there is a statistically significant relationship between describing and purpose
dimensions. Furthermore, there is a statistically significant relationship between the total
score of resilience and the purpose dimension.
2. There are statistically significant differences in the average scores among the
sample’s members on the resilience scale between high and low emotional regulation
levels.
3. There are no statistically significant differences in the average scores among the
sample’s members on the mindfulness and resilience scales related to gender.
4. There is a statistically significant effect between resilience and gender variables
in mindfulness, in favor of high-scored resilience female members. However, there is a
statistically significant effect of resilience alone or gender alone in mindfulness.
This research aims to investigate the nature of the correlated relationship between
emotional regulation and resilience, as well as to investigate the differences according to
the gender. Emotional Regulation Scale for Adolescents (prepared by Al-A
ssemi) and
Resilience Scale (prepared by Connor and Davidson) have been used. The sample was (40)
students of 2nd year of secondary school in Sweidaa Governorate.
This research presents an empirical relationship between modulus
of elasticity with compressive strength concrete that is prepeard
from localized materials and containing several perecentages of
natural pozzolan (0 ,10 ,15, 20)% , also for tow cem
ent quantity
(350 ,400 ) Kg/m3 and for tow ages(28 ,90 ) day .Then comparing
the experimentally obtained result with the mechanical properties
calculated using the recommend relationship from the various
design codes. A new empirical relationship between elastic
modulus, and compressive strength for concrete containing natural
pozzolan is proposed.

This research aimed to know the Psychological Resilience and the Life Quality
Among the Education Preparation Diploma Students in faculty of Education of Tishreen
University, And realized the relationship between Psychological Resilience and the Li
fe
Quality, also aimed to examine the differences in resilience and Life Quality according to
the variables (six, specialty) the Students. The research used Descriptive analytical
method, The sample included (272) students in the academic year 2016/2017. The
research used Psychological Resilience and the Life Quality measures. The following
statistical methods were used: means, t – test, and Pearson Correlation. Validity of the
questionnaire was established though a jury of (7) of the teaching staff. Pilot sample
consisted of (50) students. Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at
lest (0.88) for Life Quality measure, and (0.86) for Psychological Resilience measure.
The final results showed that the Psychological Resilience and Life Quality were
middle rated for the sample research. In fact, there are positivism relationship between
Psychological Resilience and the Life Quality for the Students.
There were no significant differences in resilience related to the specialty, and sex on
the Life Quality measure. Also there were no significant differences in resilience related to
the specialty, but there were significant differences related to the sex on the Psychological
Resilience measure in favor of the male.
The present study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the counseling program
among retirees in the ambitious development and Psychological resilience, study was
