Mixture of sulphate-reducing bacteria (SRB) (Desulfotomaculum, Desulfovibro, Desulfotomonas) were studied for the biotransformation of phosphogypsum.
This study shows that the greatest reduction of phosphogypsum (g/l) was possible among different cu
ltures of carbon containing lactate (3.65), ethanol (2.9), casein (2.8); the melting rate was lower in the medium containing glucose (2.1), and three fold less in the medium with sodium acetate(1.35) almost.
The biotransformation of phosphogypsum, was calculated on the basis of amount of hydrogen sulphide in cultures. In the studied cultures the greatest amount of hydrogen sulphide was produced from medium containing alcohol (1.29g/l). These isolated bacteria were found to be very effective in the reduction of (2.15 g/l) sulfate from phosphogypsum, with (98.03 %) reduction of Chemical Oxygen Demand in medium with glucose. The greatest amount of dissolved phosphogypsum was removed from medium containing Lactate, ethanol, casein respectively as sources of carbon.

This study is considered a newly addition and continuous survey to
Ascomycetes and Basidiomycetes which are importance in Barada basin
(Damascus district), it basically aims at knowing fungal biological communities
at framework of biodiversity and
ecological diversity in Syria. The study
extended from ١٩٩٦ to ١٩٩٩ years.
Researchers in this study confirm that there are representatives of ١٠
families out of which ١٦ genera has been specified which are distributed to ٢٦
species (٢٤ of them have been specified), and representatives of ١٣ families out
of which ١٨ genera has been specified which are distributed to ٢٧ species. The
places of spreading of each of them in its medium, most important
characteristics, which allow to distinguish it have been referred to, as well as to
the main practical importance, which describes it regarding the nutritive value
or to do environmental roles.
Just as the meaning of words is tied to the communities in which they are used, so too is semantic change. But how does lexical semantic change manifest differently across different communities? In this work, we investigate the relationship between c
ommunity structure and semantic change in 45 communities from the social media website Reddit. We use distributional methods to quantify lexical semantic change and induce a social network on communities, based on interactions between members. We explore the relationship between semantic change and the clustering coefficient of a community's social network graph, as well as community size and stability. While none of these factors are found to be significant on their own, we report a significant effect of their three-way interaction. We also report on significant word-level effects of frequency and change in frequency, which replicate previous findings.
