Development of the nursing profession and address future shortages in the labor force depends largely on the ability to attract young people to enter it, to attract these young people, it should start to identify the important factors that influence their choice of nursing profession. The study aims to identify factors influencing choice of students for the nursing profession. Research was conducted on a sample of 250 students(first-year) in Nursing College atTishreen University. Descriptive research methodologywas followed and questionnaire to collect data was used. Most of student perceived nursing as humanitarian job, 60% of them selected nursing as their first choice. For most students (72.8%), the main reason they chose to study nursing is the desire to help others. They were mostly motivated by their parents to join nursing. The object of this search was the setting up of study of sterilized milk munofactore in Syria, and definition of causes to drop of quality and decrease of shelf-life. This research studies the competitiveness ability of Syrian exports and the major factors empowering this ability, the availability of these factors considers one of the most important elements to ensure maximum productivity and best use of resources , and thus reach higher rates of economic growth, taking into account the importance of analyzing the excellence elements which Syrian Exportation Sector owns in light of all restrictive factors facing competitiveness ability including production costs quality and government role, this research identified a group of remarks and conclusions indicating that although Syria owns market power elements but they are not invested in a sufficient way. Therefore, the Syrian market is weak with respect to the competitiveness ability, in addition to a clear weakness of the competitiveness of the Syrian exportations, in particular the industrial exportations. This results in the need to implement a group of recommendations or solutions in order to overcome this dilemma. The forefront of these recommendations is the need to support the Syrian exportation’s sectors that have the best competitiveness ability to compete in a clear and transparent framework of strategy for external trade.
This study aimed to examine the extent of disclosure in the annual reports of Syrian private banks for the financial year 2015. The level and extent of disclosure was examined by applying the disclosure index on the annual reports. Four dependent variable (size, profitability, financial leverage and allowance) were examined to know their effect and relationship with the level of disclosure.
This paper aims to identify the most important internal factors may effect on profitability of Syrian private banks during the period (2009-2015). To achieve the objective of the study, Researcher study the dependent factor profitability measured by return on assets (ROA) and return on equity (ROE), and the following independent factors (Bank size, Debt ratio, owner's equity, Liquidity, Net interest, and provision of credit facilities to credit facilities ratio).
The main objective of this study was to determine the level of consumer awareness toward food safety in Damascus, the biggest governorate in Syria. The data were obtained from a survey of 196 consumers in Damascus, during the year 2012. A special index was developed through out set of questions. ANOVA was used to recognize the significant different means of awareness index matching levels of each influent factor, and the study revealed that there were significant differences among index means for categories of: age, gender, education, marital status, income, sector of work, place of living and place of shopping. According to the Probit model analysis, older persons had higher probability of having awareness toward food safety by 18.8% and 16.8% for the second and third (older) category of age. Women were more aware than men by 9.2%. High education increases the probability. Likewise, The average level of income had the highest probability of having awareness by about 34.9% comparing with low and high income groups. The study recommended to create a special informative campaigns targeting especially groups with low levels of awareness, throughout the most favorite ways for consumers, which were T.V. and internet.
