Background :In spite of all the advances in health care and medical technology, provision of qualified health care to cancer patients remains one of the major challenges that health care professionals have to face in the next years. this study was conducted with the goal of assessing effect of nursing care on meeting cancer patient's needs at home Methods: by using quazi-experimental design, eighteen breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy were selected (40 experimental, 40 compared). Experimental group patients received supportive psycho-educational interventions for three months, consisted of ( education, progressive muscle relaxation technique, and emotional support), while compared group patients received route nursing care in hospital. After three months the results were assessed by using supportive care needs survey (SCNS) and compared by using independent T test, mean, median. Results : the results show that more than tow third of study patients had unmet needs, first of it were about information needs and emotional needs. And after study interventions these needs were decreased for intervention group patients statistically significant compared with compared group and its priorities were changed after three months. But the interventions did not improve sexual needs meeting. Conclusion: supportive care needs can improve cancer patient needs meeting in home and hospital during chemotherapy. so we recommend ascertain supportive nursing care in hospital and homes.

Experimental group patients received supportive psycho-educational interventions consisted of education, progressive muscle relaxation technique with four supportive range of motion exercises in addition to emotional support for three months. While control group patients received routine nursing care in hospital. The results were assessed for both groups by using European organization for cancer research and treatment quality of life questionnaire (EOCRT-QLQ C30) and breast cancer module.
Dysphagia considers the most important and common in neurological system patient on critical care units. Objective: The aim of this study was to study the effect of nursing care policy on dysphagia in neurological system patients in critical care u nits. Material and method: the study was conducted on 40 patients divided on four groups (Shaker Exercise, Mendelsohn maneuver, [Shaker Exercise, and Mendelsohn maneuver] and control group) in critical care units in the Assad university hospital and the National Hospital whom have dysphagia. The data was collected by using the personal information form, and the dysphagia severity scale. Nursing staff exposed to musculoskeletal problems associated with work while providing nursing care because of the erroneous practice of mechanical body, This study aimed to assess the level of nursing staff information about the use of mechanical body and the extent of their use of mechanical body within the nursing activities ,This study was conducted on the author of a sample of 65 nurse in surgery and internal and intensive care at University Hospital Assad where he was interviewed every nurse on the end were evaluated their knowledge by assessing information form was then assess how their use of body mechanics within specific activities in nursing care using the observational checklist , the study concluded that the level of information and practices of nursing staff about mechanical body ranged between poor and average, the study recommended the need to raise the level of information and practices of nursing staff about good mechanical body through training and educational programs and lectures.
Although complications of arteriovenous fistula infrequent, but they occur, the most important and common complications are: thrombosis, infection, stenosis vascular, bleeding, aneurysm, ischemia. It was observed that preparation and good care of AVF have an important role in reducing complications in addition to accelerate the maturation of arteriovenous fistula. Objective: This study was conducted to determine the effect of the application of the policy of nursing care on the clinical outcomes of the arterial venous connection postoperatively in patients with end stage renal disease. Materials and Methods: the study was conducted at AL-Assad University Hospital (Lattakia), a convent sample of 20 patientsin the renal dialysis department and the Department of Surgery. Clinical results for AVF were evaluated and the results of application policy of nursing care to of AVF in the control and experimental groups after 40 days of follow-up by using tow development tools: Sociodemographic Data and Arteriovenous Fistula Assessment Sheet. Results: our results demonstrated important of application of A Protocol Of Postoperative Arteriovenous Fistula Care. It decreased the complications in the experimental group and improve maturation of AVF mostly in the twentieth day of the study, while there was complications higher and delay in the maturation of AVF to the fortieth day of the study and after in the control group, which left for routine hospital. Conclusions and recommendations: our present study results advice to apply a protocol of Postoperative Arteriovenous Fistula Care because its affect in decrease and preventing complication in addition to improve maturation of AVF on ESRD patients
Each health care organisation has certain characteristics in terms of activities and work methods, that differentiate areorganisation from the other. These characteristics represent the work environment that nurses work within. Nursing work environ ment received an international attention recentlyspecial emphasis on the importance of improvinghospitals environment for its influence on organizational and individuals outcomes such as absence of nurses, job dissatisfaction, nursing turnover , Burnout ,intention to leave the profession workplace, nursing represents an important part of an essential element in the system of health care, work in the pressing environment can affect the psychological health and arrival at Burnout .This study aim to study the impact of nursing work environment on nurse’ burnout in critical care units in government hospital settings in Lattakia. The study showed that the environment of nursing work environment is unfavorable, from the point of view of more than half of the nursing staff participating in the study 2,where the highest scoring of subscale was:/nurse physician communications skills/ and lowest scoring of subscale was/nurse foundations for quality of care/ ,well as the study showed the existence of a direct relationship between the work environment unfavorable and burnout , and the work environment in all its dimensions affect the burnout, where after /nurse manager's ability, leadership, and support of nurses/ where the most influential dimensions in the nurse’ burnout, while /nurse-physician communications skills/ the less influential dimensions in the development of nurse’ burnout, on , study showed that there is a link between each of the dimensions of the an environment nursing work and dimensions of the burnout, where that the / nurse foundations for quality of care/ importance of its role more than the impact in raising the rate of emotional exhaustion, while after /nurse participation in organization affairs/ of the importance of its role more than the dimensions of the work environment impact in raising the rate of depersonalization, as it was after the / adequacy of resources and nurses/ more than the dimensions of the work environment impact in reducing the proportion of personal achievement.
