The aim of this study was to investigate the relation between Burnout, Optimism and Support from Management in some Applied and Theoretical Faculties in a sample of teachers at Tishreen University. The sample consists of120 teachers, who were recru ited from some Applied Faculties (Economy, Sciences, Civil Engineering, Electrical and mechanical engineering, and Pharmacy) and from some Theoretical Faculties (Education, Jura and Literatures). We used an adapted and confirmative version of Maslach and others to asses burnout (MBI; Maslach, Jackson, & Leiter,1996) as well as an adapted and confirmative version subscale of the Spector Job Satisfaction Survey to assess support (JSS; Spector, 1995) .Optimism was measured by using an adapted and confirmative version of Satow and Schwarzer Optimism scale (Satow&Schwarzer,1999(. Results indicated that :  There wasno a significant relation between teacher’ s burnout and support they received from the management but there was a significantly positive relation between optimism and support as well as a negative a significantly relation between burnout and optimism  Burnout was negatively associated with experience  No a significantly differences between the mean scores of the teachers in Applied and Theoretical faculties in burnout , optimism and support
Nursing is considered to be one of the most stressful professions among the human services professions, it need compassion and involvement beyond physical care giving. Nurses have tremendous responsibilities and deal with enormous challenges, Burno ut is one of these challenges, it is characterized by decreasing energy, power and resources in the presence of excessive demands. It is one of the factors which influence the efficiency and productivity of the workers and staff in every field. Aim: This descriptive study was aimed to assess burnout among 135 nurses, were randomly chosen, working in various section of Al-Assad university hospital. The data were collected by using a translated version of the Maslach Burnout Inventory-Human Services Survey. Results: Showed high levels of burnout among nurses as general Nurses working in Emergency Room, Intensive Care, Operation Room with Baccholrius degree had high level of Emotional Exhaustio (EE). Nurses young people experienced high level of Depronalization (D). Nurses working in night shift showed low level of Personal Accomplishment (PA(.No statistical significance was found between burnout and gende, marital status, work experience. Conclusions: this problem must be studied more deeply and related factors should be recognized in order to reduce burn out among nurses. Many affected aspects of nurse's job should be noticed and appropriate intervention should be conducted.
Each health care organisation has certain characteristics in terms of activities and work methods, that differentiate areorganisation from the other. These characteristics represent the work environment that nurses work within. Nursing work environ ment received an international attention recentlyspecial emphasis on the importance of improvinghospitals environment for its influence on organizational and individuals outcomes such as absence of nurses, job dissatisfaction, nursing turnover , Burnout ,intention to leave the profession workplace, nursing represents an important part of an essential element in the system of health care, work in the pressing environment can affect the psychological health and arrival at Burnout .This study aim to study the impact of nursing work environment on nurse’ burnout in critical care units in government hospital settings in Lattakia. The study showed that the environment of nursing work environment is unfavorable, from the point of view of more than half of the nursing staff participating in the study 2,where the highest scoring of subscale was:/nurse physician communications skills/ and lowest scoring of subscale was/nurse foundations for quality of care/ ,well as the study showed the existence of a direct relationship between the work environment unfavorable and burnout , and the work environment in all its dimensions affect the burnout, where after /nurse manager's ability, leadership, and support of nurses/ where the most influential dimensions in the nurse’ burnout, while /nurse-physician communications skills/ the less influential dimensions in the development of nurse’ burnout, on , study showed that there is a link between each of the dimensions of the an environment nursing work and dimensions of the burnout, where that the / nurse foundations for quality of care/ importance of its role more than the impact in raising the rate of emotional exhaustion, while after /nurse participation in organization affairs/ of the importance of its role more than the dimensions of the work environment impact in raising the rate of depersonalization, as it was after the / adequacy of resources and nurses/ more than the dimensions of the work environment impact in reducing the proportion of personal achievement.
This study aimed to detect the stress and Burnout among special education teachers in the social welfare city of Homs and its relationship with some demographic variables, such as gender, income, salaries and Qualification it included a sample st udy from teachers in the institution and numbered ( 66 ) teachers for the academic year 2015/2016.
