The effect of teaching by using the Learning Program according to Marzano’s Dimensions Of Learning Model in growing the metacognition thinking for first secondary students school in Lattakia. And the study didn’t show a statistically significant mean score difference between the mean scores of students of the experimental group (male and female) in the post to test metacognition thinking, and it may be due to the fact that student who learn in a metacognition was an active partner in educational situation, he or she is the tempter, liquid and good listener, all that helped in the development of his metacognition thinking skills, whether male or female.

The research aims to identify the degree of knowledge and recruit teachers for thinking strategies beyond the knowledge in the education of excelling students in Damascus, mentally, knowing the significance of differences in the degree of their kn owledge and their employment of these strategies depending on the variables (training courses, educational qualification). The sample of the research was (53) teacher, has been selected in the manner intended by the valiant minor for high achievers, as applied to them to identify knowledge and recruit teachers for thinking strategies beyond the cognitive, which are prepared by the researcher after verifying the validity and reliability.
The study seeks to identify the prevailing methods of thinking among the mentally talented students in the light of their achievement rates and gender. The sample of the research was chosen intentionally. It consists of second secondary grade studen ts from "Top Students Secondary School". The study used the analytic, descriptive method, as well as the Sternberg & Wagner's list of methods of thinking, which was translated by Mr. Abu Hashem. The study showed that the most common methods of thinking for mentally talented students were legislative thinking, and liberal hierarchical thinking. The least common, on the other hand, were conservative thinking, global thinking and executive thinking. The study showed that the relationship between students' scores on certain thinking methods and their achievement rates was very weak. These methods are: legislative, executive, global, local, liberal, conservative, monarchic and anarchic. It was also found out that there was a weak relationship between students' scores on some other thinking methods and their achievement rates. These methods are: judicial methods and minority method. There is a moderate relationship regarding the hierarchical and external thinking. As the study showed that there was a statistically significant difference between the mentally talented male students and students excelling mentally in the following methods of thinking: global, conservative, hierarchical, monarchic, internal and external. This was in favor of males regarding internal thinking, and in favor of females regarding global, conservative, monarchic, hierarchical and external thinking.
This exploratory study concluded that the level of basic thinking skills among the sample’s members is low. These findings were the basis of the study in hands, and encouraged the researcher to investigate them, since basic thinking skills are es sentials traits for the students in order for them to develop critical and creative thinking skills as well as higher thinking skills, which affects positively their academic achievements.

The study showed that: there was a statistically significant difference between experimental and control groups according to California's Test for critical thinking including with the dimensions of analysis, evaluation, inference, and the total degree as a result of the post, so this difference is due to the right intelligent system of knowledge program, and this shows the effectiveness of this program and its ability to develop critical thinking skills. Too, there was no statistically significant difference between male and female students from the experimental group on the California's Test of critical thinking including with the dimensions of analysis, evaluation, inference, and the total degree.
This study aimed at investigating fourth grade basic pupils’ attitudes towards social studies based on Marzano’s Model and to investigate the effect of sex and residence of these attitudes. For that, the descriptive method was used, and the questi onnaires’ attitudes towards classroom climate and assigned tasks was administered to the simple random sample consisted of (201) males and females pupils in Lattakia province schools. The results showed that pupils’ attitudes were positive towards their acceptance by the teacher and by their peers, order, social studies value, social studies clarity, and ability to perform social studies. There were no significant differences among Females and male` attitudes towards their acceptance by the teacher and by their peers, comfort, order, and social studies value, and social studies clarity. Furthermore, Females` attitudes towards ability to perform social studies more than males’ attitudes. In addition, Urban pupils` attitudes towards social studies clarity and ability to perform social studies more than urban pupils’ attitudes, whereas rural pupils` sense of comfort in social studies more than urban pupils’ sense. The study suggest according to these results the necessity of teaching teachers about positive classroom climate and about assigned tasks for developing attitudes towards social studies.
