The study sample consisted of (200) students from the fifth and sixth grade in Salamiah city and that of the male and female. The researcher used: The scale of post-Traumatic Stress Disorder of preparation Manal el-Sheikh (2010), and had a good degree of validity and reliability The research found the following results: 1 - Find a sample children's exposure to PTSD after traumatic experiences they went through. 2 - There were statistically significant differences between the average degrees of exposure to PTSD variable depending on sex. 3 - There is a statistically significant relationship between exposure to traumatic stress and academic achievement.
