Training a robust and reliable deep learning model requires a large amount of data. In the crisis domain, building deep learning models to identify actionable information from the huge influx of data posted by eyewitnesses of crisis events on social media, in a time-critical manner, is central for fast response and relief operations. However, building a large, annotated dataset to train deep learning models is not always feasible in a crisis situation. In this paper, we investigate a multi-task learning approach to concurrently leverage available annotated data for several related tasks from the crisis domain to improve the performance on a main task with limited annotated data. Specifically, we focus on using multi-task learning to improve the performance on the task of identifying location mentions in crisis tweets.

This work discusses the feasibility of applying a small and inexpensive GPS, a Field Strength Meter (FSM) and a personal computer, that can activity and rapidly determine the Geo-locations of RF cooperated emitter, which have a wide range of both m ilitary and civilian applications. The emitter’s Geo-coordinates can be estimated by a single moving observation system, which receives signals from the emitter, and measures his Geo-locations and Field Strengths of the transmitted signal at four Positions Analytic Formulas are derived to calculate the location of Emitter, which detected from four Positions by using of Linear Algebra or pseudo range’s solution, The MATLAB was used to solve the four Equations and to simulate the Geo-Positions on Geo-Map.

The research objective is to perceive the nature of relationship between Latakia and Tartous ports with the other seaports of the Mediterranean and Black Sea regions, identifying whether it is integrating, competing or neutral relations, in the mea ntime, another research objective arises, it is to analyze the influence of the geographic location on these regions’ sea ports inter-relationship, the research concluded the presence of a competing relationship between Latakia and Tartous against the ports of Mersin, Beirut, Haifa, Ashdod, on the contrary, there has proved a cooperative and integrative relationship between the Egyptian Ports of Port Said, Damietta and Alexandria, the same relation with a lower degree with the other Arabian ports and the Syrian trade partners sea ports , while other ports were neutral ,the research concluded the importance of making use of the comparative advantages enabled by the geographic location of Latakia and Tartous ports, also the importance of developing its port capacity and facilities, focusing on improving their performance, productivity and the application of effective marketing policies.
A retrospective study of 55 cases (mean age 55, range 82 ـ 35 years) of Gastrointestinal stromal tumors cancer admitted at AL Assad University Hospital , Lattakia , Syria. from 1\1\2002 to 1\1\2014 for studying its :locations ,risk factors and surgic al management. Stomach was the most common site for GISTs in 52.27% , small intestinal in 30.90%, rectum in 9.09% and colon in 7.27%. The most common clinical signs and symptoms were: gastrointestinal bleeding 61.8% ,abdominal pain 21.81%.the histologic prognosis was high and moderate in 72.72% of patients. Total gastrictomy was performed for one patient ,subtotal gastrictomy for 16 patients and a wedge in 11 cases. In 6 patients a segementectomy of small intestinal were performed. and in one patient a resection of the upper rectum performed.
Radar detects the targets and measures its parameters, range, azimuth, height, and velocity of the target. In some application, such as early warning radar we don’t have extremely measure all these parameters, but in other application like detect ion targets and measures his geo-locations requires high resolution to all these parameters. This research highlights the most recognizable basics of Sibaweih's methodology in his book. Altogether, they are not different from the modern descriptive approach. Sibaweih appears in the first Arabic Linguistics Encyclopaedia, in a way that presen ts the righteousness of his pioneering methodology, as is apparent in the three linguistic levels of: Phonology, Morphology and Syntax. We have traced the method he followed to treat the linguistic phenomena, which in all its forms constitute a constellation of semantic and intellectual operations based on all aspects of this phenomenon, next to the realistic principles that he relied on to achieve his goal. Themselves are the principles that gained circulation in the West later on; as follows: listening; language and speech; spoken and written language; unity of time and place; induction; and categorization.
