The research aimed at identifying the degree of problems of teaching and achieving skill-objectives from the viewpoint of biology subject teachers in the Secondary stage, and identifying the effect of (gender, qualification, years of experience, tr aining courses) variables on problems of teaching and achieving skill objectives in biology subject. The researcher followed the descriptive analytical method. A questionnaire contained (34) statements was used to achieve the aim of the research. the research was applied on a random sample of biology teachers in the Secondary stage consisted of (126) teachers. The results of the research showed that the degree of problems of teaching and achieving skill-objectives from the viewpoint of biology teachers was high, the mean was (3.27) . In addition, the strongest degree of the problems was that the related to the educational environment and teaching techniques, while the degree of the problems related to the student, teacher, curricula was medium. the researcher also found that there was no significant statistical differences between the means of the degrees of the biology teacher's answers about teaching and achieving skillobjectives in biology subject according to (gender, qualification, years of experience, training courses) variables. The researcher suggested the necessity of conducting training courses aim at supervising teachers and enhancing their skills and teaching experience, and the necessity of preparing and improving the abilities of the educational environment and providing the needed teaching techniques for the new curricula.
This research aims to measure the effectiveness of the strategy concept maps in the collection of the second grader. To achieve the objective, the research designs research tools which included maps of science concepts and test grades. The sample inc luded (84) pupils who were divided into three groups, two of which test experimentally (I learned the concept maps and paper and there were 26 pupils, and second I learned concept maps and electronic numbering (30), and a third officer were 28 pupils, and use curriculum almost demo. The search results include: differences between the three groups for the second experimental group I learned by using concept maps and there are differences between the experimental group and the control group's first paper for students first pilot paperwork group. As differences attributed to the variable method for teaching students in the experimental group that learned science using concept maps. It concludes with proposals: routing based on textbooks need to provide these books with maps illustrating concepts of relations between concepts in different subjects, and holding seminars and training courses for in-service teachers to familiarize them with the strategy maps and training concepts to integrate modern technology in building maps and encourage them to use in all educational materials.
This study aimed at investigating the effect of a computerized programme on changing alternative concepts in science among second intermediate grade students in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in “motion and sound units”. A puroseful sample of (90) st udents was selected and students were randomly assigned to two groups: the experimental group which was taught “motion and sound” by the computerized programme, and the control group which was taught the same two units by the traditional method.
This study aimed at investigating the effect of different coloring strategies in instructional software on the basic third grade pupils achievement in science. The subjects of the study consisted of (82) male and female pupils who were distributed randomly to the four treatments.
The research aims to know the effect of using the Analogical strategy in the development of the scientific concepts of basic fourth-grade students in science, the study was adopted on Quasiexperimental approach, and the research tool formed of Qua siexperimental program designed according to the Analogical strategy, and scientific concepts test, the research sample consisted of (50) male and female students, divided into experimental group consisted of (25) male and female students of Abdul Karim Al Ragab School studied by Analogical strategy, the control group consisted of (25) male and female students of Adnan al-Maliki School studied in the traditional manner.
The research aims to identify the impact of the use of scaffolding strategy in the development of achievement and creative thinking among students of primary third grade in science. Search and adopted the experimental method, as applied some of the lessons the students according to the educational scaffolding strategy.
The research aims to monitor the degree of sciences teachers practice fourth grade of formative evaluation methods from their point of the view in the light of developed curricula. The researcher has constructed a questionnaire that included Forma tive evaluation methods used in evaluating sciences subject. As well, asking one question for the aim of knowing the difficulties and obstacles limiting the degree of sciences teachers practice of formative evaluation methods. The research conducted a set of results indicating the existence of a high level practice of Formative evaluation methods by science teachers of the fourth grade concerning class discussion, exercises, worksheets and follow-up, learner performance observation, self-evaluation. The results have also shown that there are statistically significant differences between the research medium degree members to that of the method to the number of experience in favor of teachers with more than ten years of experience, the results have also shown that there are statistically significant differences between the research medium degree members to that of the method to the scientific qualification in favor of teachers with higher educational qualifications.
