This thesis is dedicated to study the phenomenon of verbal
violence in high schools in Syria by introducing it and study its
causes and its relation to the society in which it is spreading
rapidly.
The ultimate goal of this study is to enhance the cultural competence of the Syrian
students at both the school and university phases throughout the teaching of English. The
first part of this study provides what many researchers think about the ro
les of the textbook
and the teacher in strengthening the relationship between the learner and his/her own
culture and/or the other cultures including the target culture. In the second part of this
study, an analysis from a cultural perspective of the Syrian context is provided. This
analysis focuses on the English language textbooks used at the Syrian schools and at
Tishreen university. Then it moves to both the Syrian teachers and leaners. The last part of
this study gives some suggestions that could be helpful in strengthening the cultural
awareness in the Syrian educational system.
This research aims to identify the extent of the practice of
mathematics teachers at the secondary level of the roles of the
teacher in the light of the knowledge-based economy from the
perspective of mentors specialists. Was preparing a questionnaire
consisting of 38 items, applied to all directors math workers of the
province of Hama Education Directorate's (10).
This research handles an important axis of the modern educational
axes, that is the assessment. Also it aims to study everything about
the self assessment since it has an important role in our career and
practical life. Further more it presents an
objective evidence for
the Arabic teacher to depend on in assessing his accomplishment
and work and discover his power and weakness points in a
subjective way. And all that can be through an index, includes all
the points of the educational process.
In class, the teachers provide constantly instructions, and the learners must
continually perform. But, some of these instructions are not followed ! It is the same of
exercises or examination subjects. The instruction poses several challenges both
in terms
of its formulation or that of his understanding.
Formulate an instruction require a great effort, great care and special skills, because
of the quality of the latter depends in large part the quality of work performed.
The study aimed to identify the role of the Data Show on the profession of the university teacher from their point of view. The study sample consisted of (56) as a teacher. And applied a questionnaire as a measurement tool, axes focused on the organization of the lecture time, and the development of the teaching method, and keep abreast of scientific developments, and psychological and professional satisfaction.
