A laboratory experiment was carried out in the Clay Minerals and Colloids Laboratory in the Department of Soil Sciences and Land Reclamation at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering - University of Aleppo. The research aims to know the effect of two types of salts (NaCl - Na2SO4) with five concentrations of each of the salts studied in the laboratory experiment on the stability of artificial soil aggregates and to know the salt concentrations that cause the greatest damage in the destruction of artificial soil aggregates. The results indicated the effect of the increased concentration of salts in increasing the percentage of aggregates that were subjected to collapse. The study also indicated that soil aggregates were damaged more by sodium chloride salt compared to sodium sulfate salt. The results indicated that sodium chloride salt contributes to the destruction of soil aggregates, especially at a concentration of 10 g.𝓁-1, where the percentage of destroyed aggregates reached about 35%. Sodium sulfate salt also contributed to the destruction of soil aggregates, and the highest value for the percentage of destroyed aggregates was (25.1%) at a concentration of 8 g.𝓁-1.

This current study was carried out on B41 grape rootstock micropropagated in vitro at the General Commission for Scientific Agricultural Research (GCSAR), Syria to study the effect of different concentrations of sodium chloride on the multiplicati on and rooting stages. The results showed that the highest average of survival plants (98%), the number of new buds (8.43) and plant length (8.58 cm) were obtained in the control treatment after 4 weeks from multiplication stage. The treatment with 50 mM of sodium chloride led to reduce the multiplication rates with significant differences, while the lowest plant multiplication had occurred with 100 mM of sodium chloride and no survival plants were remained by the treatment with 150 mM of sodium chloride during multiplication stage. The highest rooting rates (% 85.30), the number of roots (4.67) and root length (6.28 cm) were also obtained in the control treatment after 4 weeks from rooting stage. The treatment with 50 mM of sodium chloride led to reduce the rooting process with significant differences. The lowest rooting results were observed with 100 mM of sodium chloride and no rooting rate was observed when plants were treated with 150 mM of sodium chloride.
A column experiment was carried out under the conditions of the laboratory of colloids and clay minerals at the Faculty of Agricultural Engineering at the University of Aleppo, in order to know the effect caused by the magnetization of irrigation wat er on the chemical properties of soils irrigated with water of different salinity. The experiment was carried out on the Kskeis soil, located east of Aleppo city, and it was irrigated with three types of water of different salinity (Furat - Rasm Al-Hamis - Mishrifat Al-Zakiya). With irrigated water, the irrigation process was carried out with ten irrigations. The results indicated that the magnetization of showing off water reached its value, reached its value, reached its value, reached its value when magnetized. dS.m-1) was 4.05, while at the non-magnetized (dS.m-1) 3.7, the values of the sorbent sodium rate SAR were affected by the accumulation of salts in the subsurface layer of the studied treatments included in the study. The values of the rate of sodium adsorption SAR were also affected by the accumulation of salts in the subsurface layer of the studied treatments included in the study, and the magnetization of water contributed to the reduction of SAR values. 1.57, while it reached 1.93 in the same treatment irrigated with non-magnetized water.
This research is done in an experiment by plaster in the circumstances of Homs. The aim of this paper to study the effect of adding four different levels of phosphogypsum as much as (0.00, 6.72, 13.44, 20.16)ton / hectare (three replicates for eac h treatment) on bulk density and structure stability for clay soil has taken from (Kattina). The results showed improvement in the stability of the structure of soil specially (0.25-1)mm, increasing in aggregation degree , increasing of the rate of total porosity ,air filled porosity in comparison to the control at the two levels(13.44, 20.16)ton/hectare and also by increasing the added level . Whereas the dispersion ratio , and Bulk density were decreased when increasing the level of phosphogypsum at the same two levels. The main achieved results in this study showed , a significant increase in aggregation degree in the soil when increasing the ratio of the added phosphogypsum at the levels( 6.72, 13.44, 20.16) in comparasion with control . In other way the dispersion ratio was decreased and had negative relationship when increasing the level of the added phosphogypsum in comparasion with control .
The aim of this study is to determine the best probability distribution of annual, monthly, annual one day maximum precipitation for stations in Aleppo Governorate by using nw2 test, then estimating annual, monthly, one day maximum precipitation to various return periods according to the best probability distribution, and using Chow’s general frequency formula.
The current research was carried out between May and June to study the effect of adding different concentrations of fennel (Foeniculum vulgare), 0.5, 1.0 and 1.5% on the physiochemical and quality characteristics of the sponge cake stored for (0, 5 , 10 and 15) days. The results of the chemical composition of the flour used in the sponge cake mix showed that the percentages of protein and fat were 10.3 and 0.8% respectively, while the ash and carbohydrate levels were 0.65 and 76.75% respectively, the moisture percentage was 11.5%. The results of the sensory evaluation showed that the cake treated with 1% of fennel powder had good colour, texture and appearance in comparison with the other treatments, while the cake treated with 1.5% of fennel showed better flavour among other treatments. The results of the physical tests showed an increase in the weight and size of the sponge cake with the increase of fennel powder, while the specific size decreased compared to the standard sponge cake. The values of peroxide and the acidity of the sponge cake stored at room temperature for 15 days were decreased with the increase of the percentage of fennel powder in comparison with the standard sponge cake. The addition of fennel to cake mix effected positively on the final product.
