The present research was conducted to study the resistance of Acasia tree which were near to Banias- Jableh freeway. This study was performed by study the stomata and its distribution on the upper and down leaf surfaces. Also, a concentration of chlorophyll and a severity of photosynthesis, then compared the results between the polluted region with the control one. Results showed that a number of stomata decreased in polluted region compared to the control one, where this reduction play a role in reduce the injury resulting from gas air pollutants, and this reflexes on the severity of photosynthesis and the chlorophyll.

We discussed the importance of studying the trichomes award in olive trees, leaves and its role in the resistance to these trees against pollution resulting from the Banias refinery intake, through the study of their density and distribution on a superficial paper and examine the concentration of chlorophyll in the leaves, and comparing the results between the contaminated areas and the control area . Results showed that the density of the trichomes play a role in protecting the ports of entry into force of pollutants into the plant tissue, and its impact on the pigments of photosynthesis, and thus the process of photosynthesis.
The events, the developments and the international changes are based on the tracks that always deviate as the result of wills struggle between the forces and states. In the sense that the political crises that countries face means a set of interactio ns among the forces that have conflict which may reach to a confrontation. So we must be aware of the political and economic changes, according to the scientific methods to understand what threatens the interests of the states. Many of the sequential crises throughout history are resulted from the use of the power which is based on the object of the available resources. Therefore, the power is the practical exercise and the political investment abroad and that happens through diplomacy or war so that the state can determine its objectives, and decide what to choose among those of power tools. The forces and the states have seek to own the overall power in order to be the motivator of the political units within the framework of the international community. There are countries which benefit from the wars set in their agendas in advance to achieve the aims of their policy. War is still an essential tool for states, governments and groups to achieve their interests through direct conflict, or through the threat of sanctions, or through aids, including the so-called soft power, and sometimes through the form of international legitimacy, including the emergence of the term "fighting terrorism" and what accompanied it of global changes led to politically, militarily, economically and technologically submission to the powerful nations.
The concentrations were determined of the most basic air pollutants (SO2, H2S, CO, O3, NOx, TSP, PM10, PM2.5) in some vital areas in the Tartous city of and its surroundings using a mobile unit to measure air pollutants.
The research aims to identify the role of organizational culture in reducing resistance to change of the employees through a study of the relationship between the dimensions of the organizational culture, and the reasons of resistance change by emp loyees working in Lattakia City Council. To achieve the objectives of the research, a questionnaire was designed and distributed to (343) employees in Lattakia City Council, (315) questionnaire were complete and valid for statistical analysis, with a response rate of (91.84%). Relying on multiple regression, the following results were reached: 1. There is a strong inverse relationship which is statistically significant between the elements after the containment and interdependence of (empowerment, staff development, teamwork and participation), and a reeducation of the resistance of workers to change, wherever after containment and coherence elements are available, there is a decline in the causes resistance of workers to change. 2. There is strong inverse relationship that is statistically significant between the elements after the consistency and uniformity of working (core values, agreement, coordination and integration), and a reduction of resistance workers to change, i.e. when elements after consistency and homogeneity are availed, they lead to a decline in the causes of workers resistance to change. 3. There is strong inverse relationship which is statistically significant between the elements of the human aspects (respect and appreciation, justice, encouragement achievement, and social welfare), and the reeducation of workers resistance to change, i.e., whenever there are elements of the human aspects, there is a decline of the causes of workers resistance to change. 4. There is strong inverse relationship which is statistically significant between the elements after the organizational climate of (administrative practices, rewards, communications, and surveillance system), and the reduction of workers resistance to change, i.e., wherever after the organizational climate elements are available, there is a decline in the causes of workers resistance to change.
This research was aimed to assess the pollution from Tartous Cement Factory of some heavy metal by using of the bark of olive trees and Lichens as Bio-indicators. The olive trees was chosen as that predominant vegetation type in the study area. Bar k samples of olive trees and the lichens were collected from several villages surrounding the Cement Factory at different distances (1-2-3-4-5-6-7) km from the center of the Cement Factory in the eastern and north-eastern region of the Cement plant (where the prevailing winds in the region is western and southern Western). The results showed that the concentration of heavy elements in the bark of olive trees and lichens (ppm) take the same trend even thought there are differences in concentration between them by the overall average for all sites was as follows: iron > manganese > copper > lead. We note the high concentration of iron in bark of olive trees compared to lichens, but the rest of the elements it was statistically identical. The results also showed a significant correlation between the concentrations of manganese element in each of the bark and Lichens, and the existence of a negative correlation between the concentration of manganese and distance for both Lichens and bark. Concerning the altitude above sea level the results showed existence of significant and negative correlation with all of Iron, Manganese and Lead in Lichens.
