Title of the research: Qualifications of the teacher of the classroom in the
recruitment of extra-curricular activities in the educational process from the point of view
of educational mentors (field study in the schools of the first episode of the
basic education
district of Damascus)
The objective of the research: The aim of the research is to identify the
competencies of the teacher in the classroom in the employment of extra-curricular
activities in the educational process by defining his competencies in the planning,
implementation and evaluation of these activities from the point of view of educational
mentors. Research Questions: The main research question was what is the teacher's
competence in employing extra-curricular activities in the educational process from the
point of view of educational counselors in general? And in each axis of research.?
The research was based on the analytical descriptive approach. The research
community consisted of the educational supervisors in the Directorate of Education in
Damascus Governorate
Research tool: The questionnaire used by the researcher was used to identify the
views of the educational supervisors on the teacher's qualifications by employing extra
curricular activities in the educational process.

The results for the first, second, and third questions were found to be the following:
The teacher's competencies in planning the extra-curricular activities in the educational
process, according to the opinion of the educational supervisors, were found to be
moderate.

activities in the educational process in the field of planning, implementation and
evaluation according to the opinion of educational counselors exist, but to a degree.
The present research aimed to define the training needs of educational
supervisors in Syrian Arab Republic, as seen by educational supervisors.
In addition, to know whether there is a difference between the opinions of
the supervisors about their training needs according to the variables of
gender, scientific and educational qualifications, and their experience in
educational supervision.

episode of Teachers of basic education for innovations in teaching
technology education curricula , and know the impact of each of the
variables ( academic qualifications , teachi
ng experience , competence ) in
determining their point of view.
Was used to identify targeted at teachers second episode as a tool to
verify the research hypotheses , has sample consisted of ( 280 ) and
school teacher were randomized from the research community
represented by all teachers of the second episode in the schools affiliated
to the Directorate of Education in the city of Damascus, where he was
selected teachers ( 26) School in the city of Damascus and the percentage
of representation (12%).
The study was conducted in the north of Syria (Rural Aleppo and Edleb
Governorates)in 2008 through Regular random sample covered 39 extension
units which consists of 22% of the total extension units in the study area .Ten
farmers from each selecte
d unit were taken to form the sample size of 390
respondents. The objective of this research is to find out the extent of farmers
participation in extension activities that executed by the agricultural extension
and their opinions in these activities. The result showed that 56% of farmers
participated irregularly in the extension activities, 32%, 20% and 20.5% of
respondents prefer field days, demonstration and group discussion,
respectively. Low percentage of farmers prefer seminar, video show and
mobile theater. Preference of extension activities on plant protection
mentioned by 33.3% of respondents and extension activities on new irrigation
method preferred by quarter of respondents. The main suggestions mentioned
by respondents were to increase the total number of extension activities 30.5%,
the need for better method to inform farmers about the extension activities
26%, the need to increase the total number of extension workers in the area
(25%), more extension activities on marketing, sorting and grading of
agricultural products. The study showed positive and significant relationship
between family size, size of holding and occupation on one side and
participation in extension activities executed by Agricultural Extension on the
other side.
The aim of this research is to identify the degree of the educational
supervisors' practice of their roles according to their professional
competencies from the point of view of key stage one teachers in
basic education. In order to achieve the ai
m of the research, the
descriptive method was used. A random sample was drawn from
the key stage one teachers in basic education in Homs. The sample
number was (255) teachers. The researcher prepared a
questionnaire consisting of (37) statements divided into three fields
