The research aimed to measure the impact of the application of the quality management system according to ISO 9001 standards on customer satisfaction in the banking sector, and the goal of this measurement is to discover how the customers perceive th e benefits of quality management system, It also aims to discover the strengths and weaknesses of the application of this system to enhance the strengths and treat the weaknesses, and to make continuous improvement for the quality management system. In addition to this to work on developing the customer confidence in the services that are provided by the Bank.
The study aimes at of measuring customer's satisfaction about the quality of Islamic banking services, "field study for Syria International Islamic Bank," It identifies the extent of customer's satisfaction for the quality of the services that are offered by the bank under study. It reveals the benefits that can be obtained by Syria International Islamic Bank from measuring the quality of its services, and work to develop them, reaching to basic goal which is increasing its market share to maximize its profitability.
This research was conducted to determine the impact of the factors related to the bank (the liquidity of the bank, the strategy adopted by the bank, the bank's share in the credit market, the material and human resources of the bank) on the decisio n to grant small bank credit in a sample of banks operating in the Syrian coast. The researcher distributed (115) questionnaires on a sample of the employees in the credit department in the banks under study. The number of questionnaires recovered and valid for the analysis was discharged (90). The researcher analyzed the data using the Statistical Analysis Program (SPSS 20). At the end of this research, the researcher reached a number of conclusions, the most important of which is: There is a significant effect on all factors related to the bank on the decision to grant microcredit, and the order of these factors according to the degree of importance and influence on the following form: the strategy adopted by the bank, liquidity of the bank, the material resources of the bank, the human resources of the bank, The bank's share in the credit market. In addition, the researcher presented the following recommendations: Encouraging senior management in the banks under study to formulate a fixed strategy and specific procedures that will help in the success of the decision making process for the granting of microcredit, the need for automated and sophisticated communication networks that allow the flow of information between all departments and departments easily, Provide the necessary material supplies for the completion of work and development of human resources working in the banks under study.
This study aimed to measure technical efficiency of Islamic banks in Syria. This study used data envelopment analysis (DEA) method to estimate overall, pure and scale technical efficiency during the period (2010-2015). to that end, constant return to scale model and variable return to scale model was used. It has also been using windows analysis technique in order to follow banks performance during the studied period. This study also followed Intermediation approach for the choice of variables banking inputs and outputs.
