This research aims to identify the reality of librarian service in two schools from the first cycle of basic education schools, and to determine the degree of teacher usage for learning techniques available in schools libraries, and to achieve these objects a observation card and three questionnaires were prepared and they were given to librarians, teachers, and a sample of students, and it has been applied on two schools from the first cycle schools in Damascus: Ibrahim Hanano and Al-Amal schools, and the number of sample members were (156) member distributors as the following: the librarian at both schools, (14) teachers and (140) students. The study aimed at identifying the degree of availability of the skills of the educational technology of the teachers of the grade in the basic education stage (the first episode) in the schools of Damascus governorate. The difference between the average scores of the responses of the individuals in the research sample is based on the identification of the skills of the education technology according to the variables (gender, educational qualification, number of years of experience). The study sample consisted of (388) teachers and teachers who were randomly selected during the first semester of the academic year (2016/2017).
The purpose of the research is to identify the degree of employment of teachers of the first cycle of basic education of mental habits in teaching English language, as well as knowledge of the differences in the employment of these habits according to the variables of the academic qualification and the number of years of teaching experience. The sample consisted of (303) teachers and teachers The first cycle of basic education was chosen randomly by the cluster of schools in the first cycle of basic education in Damascus Governorate. They were asked to identify the teachers' use of mental habits in the teaching of the English language by the researcher after verifying its validity and stability. The results indicate that there is a low degree of teachers in the use of mental habits when teaching the English language on the total score of the scale and in all mental habits except the habits of listening comprehension and sympathy, and control of arrogance, thinking about thinking, and finding humor that was a medium. The results showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average teachers on the scale of the use of mental habits in teaching English language according to the variable of scientific qualification for teachers with diploma and postgraduate qualifications. And the existence of statistically significant differences between the average teachers on the scale of the use of mental habits in the teaching of the English language according to the variable years of experience for teachers with (5) years of teaching experience and more except areas (thinking and communicating clearly and accuracy / mutual thinking / risk responsibility) The absence of differences between the members of the research sample according to the variable number of years of experience in these fields.
Study Title : The reality of the creative educational performance of teachers of the first cycle of basic education in the light of comprehensive quality standards. Study problem: The study problem is summarized in the following question: What is the reality of the creative educational performance of the teachers of the first cycle of basic education in the light of the comprehensive quality standards from the point of view of teachers of the first cycle of basic education and their supervisors in the schools of the governorate of Damascus?
This research aims to recognize the role of the educational supervisor in overcoming the problems which face the first episode teachers of basic learning , and present some solutions which help to solve these problems and determine the differences among teachers opinions in the roles which the supervisors must do to help them in overcoming their problems according to the varieties of ‘‘sex, scientific qualification , years of experience in teaching, and the training sessions.’’ To achieve these aims, the research followed the descriptive analytic approach, A questionnaire consisted of (45) items was prepared, applied on as ample consisted of (851) teachers the first episode in Damascus schools in the year (2014-2015),The resulted showed the most problems which the role of the educational supervisor is effective are the class problems, but the role of the educational supervisor was substandard in overcoming the psychological problems. The results also showed significance statistic variances among the teachers appreciations average according to the roles which the educational supervisors perform in overcoming the problems of the first episode teachers in basic learning according to the varieties of “sex, scientific qualification, years experience in teaching, and training sessions.
The research aimed to identify the degree of employing constructivist teaching methods by classroom teachers in the first cycle of basic education, and to know the differences among the research sample individuals in the degree of employing these methods according to the variables of (educational qualification, and years of experience). The sample of the research consisted of (288) teachers in the first cycle of basic education in Damascus state schools. The sample was selected using the simple random way, and the questionnaire of employing constructivist teaching methods (prepared by the researcher) was applied to them after it was verified for its validity and reliability.
