This paper seeks to offer the possibility of comparing Hawthorn's The Scarlet Letter both in fiction and movie. The main focus will be on the similarities and differences between the novel and the film. It will also underpin the falsification of consciousness initiated by the director of the film, Roland Joffé, who directed and produced a twisted version that has distorted that masterpiece. The adaptation, directed and produced, is in fact far from the factual novel, especially in terms of plot, themes, characters, the author's point of view, symbols and allegory. This paper deals with Roland Joffé's film despite the fact that there are many others, but the researcher deemed that Joffé's is more challenging than the others. Finally, it can be claimed that this adaptation adopted in this study has been deformed for implicit reasons known only by the producer.

The Multimodal Transformer showed to be a competitive model for multimodal tasks involving textual, visual and audio signals. However, as more modalities are involved, its late fusion by concatenation starts to have a negative impact on the model's p
erformance. Besides, interpreting model's predictions becomes difficult, as one would have to look at the different attention activation matrices. In order to overcome these shortcomings, we propose to perform late fusion by adding a GMU module, which effectively allows the model to weight modalities at instance level, improving its performance while providing a better interpretabilty mechanism. In the experiments, we compare our proposed model (MulT-GMU) against the original implementation (MulT-Concat) and a SOTA model tested in a movie genre classification dataset. Our approach, MulT-GMU, outperforms both, MulT-Concat and previous SOTA model.

This research is done to study the case markers in the Ugaritic language and see the
syntactic positions of expressions in the sentence, by applying the comparatives method.
We show in this study that the noun is used in the case marked expressions
, i. e its case
changes in accordance with to its place in the sentence and in accordance to the functional
element preceding it, so that it could be nominative, accusative or object to a preposition.
And our study shows that the present verb could be also cased-marked: it can be
nominative, accusative or jussive, and that the case markers can be in this sematic
language: case markers, letters, a vowel deletion, or nun- deletion too.
Because the Ugaritic language has three symbols for the Hamza with short sounds,
they correspond to the case markers in Arabic and the case shows itself in (a) (u) and (i)
showing themselves in final position clearly. By comparing the Ugaritic expressions and
the Arabic ones we have noticed that we have three case markers, namely (a) (u) and (i).
This study alludes to the case markers common in both the language and to those that are
different too.
The research aimed at assessing marketing efficiency of dairy products in
Jordan and Syria, to assess the linear regression function. The results indicate
