The objective of this research is to find out the relationship between psychological pressure and mental toughness, and to find out the differences in these variables regarding the income and academic qualification of people who suffer from diabetes (A) in Lattakia Province. The study sample consisted of (750) diabetics, (416) males and (334) females. The ages ranged between 15 and 60 years with an average of 35 years. For this purpose, the researcher used psychological pressures scale and mental toughness scale, where their psychometric characteristics were identified through an empirical sample. The research yielded the following results: There is a statistically significant positive relationship between psychological pressure and mental toughness in the research sample. There are statistically significant differences at the indication level (0.05) between the average scores of the answers of the members of the research sample on the psychological pressure scale and mental toughness scale depending on the research's two variables: (level of income, academic qualification).

This research aimed to know the relationship between Psychological Hardiness and the life satisfaction and realized the level of Psychological Hardiness and the level of life satisfaction for sample of breast cancer patients, also aimed to examine the differences in Psychological Hardiness and life satisfaction according to the variables (age, marital status, duration of the disease). The research used Descriptive analytical method, The sample included (112) breast cancer patients in the year 2017. The research used two measures for Psychological Hardiness and the life satisfaction. Validity of the questionnaire was established though a jury of (7) of the teaching staff at Tishreen University. Pilot sample consisted of (28) breast cancer patients. Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.835) for life satisfaction measure, and (0.867) for Psychological Hardiness measure. The final results showed there are positive relationship between Psychological Hardiness and the life satisfaction for the Students. In fact, the level of Psychological Hardiness and life satisfaction for breast cancer patients were middle rated for the sample research. Finally, the study showed significant differences in Psychological Hardiness to the variable age in favor of the more than (45) years, also to marital status in favor of the marries, and to duration of the disease in favor of the breast cancer patients more than (5) years, also there are showed significant differences in the level of life satisfaction according to the variable age in favor of the more than (45) years, also to marital status in favor of the marries, and to duration of the disease in favor of the breast cancer patients more than (5) years.
The research aims to identify the level of psychological stress in patients with diabetes type II,as well as to identify differences in the differences between the mean responses of patients with diabetes type II on a scale of sources of psycholog ical stress due to the variables(sex, years of disease, marital status).Search sample Included(272)male and female patients. they were applied to a scale consisting of(56)statement divided into six levels which are (emotional stress, pressures resulting from diabetes,pressures resulting from friends and colleagues, physical pressures,family and social pressure, customs and traditions pressures).Pilot sample consisted of (32)patients, Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.71), and (0.718)by Test – Retest. The study aims to identify the psychological pressures faced by adolescents with type (A) diabetes and its relationship to some variables. The study was intentionally conducted on an age group (16-18) years, where the sample consisted of (50) teena gers with diabetes type (A) (25 males, 25 females). A questionnaire of (30) items on psychological pressures was used to. It was designed on the form of an event which the teenager faces and suffers from a psychological pressure (prepared by the researcher). Indications of true content were extracted by showing it to a number of arbitrators. The stability of the questionnaire was proved by way of retail midterm where the Spearman reliability coefficient-Brown reached (0.82) and Guttman coefficient reached (0.82). These results indicate that the measure is consistently high, which makes it fit for use. The results showed that adolescents with diabetes type(A) are under high stress. Moreover, the existence of a relationship between the psychological pressures and entering the hospital. The more the times of entering the hospital, the higher the psychological pressure is. The females are subjected to psychological pressures more than males, but the statistical analysis did not show statistically significant relationship between pressure sand age at diagnosis.
The research try to defined the Temperament Models of sample of diabetes type II In The City Of Lattakia, as well as to identify differences in the differences between the mean responses of patients with diabetes type II on a scale of Temperament Mod els to the variables (sex, place of residence). Use the search descriptive analytical method. Application a scale of Temperament Models on the sample included (350) male and female patients, for the year 2013/2014. Pilot sample consisted of (50) patients, Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.75), and (0.869) by Spearman-Brown. Results showed that the field of the power to cease operations was the most spreading between Diabetes patients, and came after the dynamic operations of Neurotic field, at last the force in the excitement field, there are statistically significant differences according to six in favor of female, there are no statistically significant differences according to place of residence.
The research aimed to recognize the level of psychological pressures and its -sources amongst students at the college of education –University of Damascus and itsrelationship with students level of psychological stiffness amongst themthe research s ample has consisted of (843) male and female students which represent about (17%) of the study population, a total of the study has attained a set of findings, the most important of which are as follows: The level of psychological pressure amongst students of the college of education-was (79.85) and their average psychological stiffness was (81.41). The study has shown that there are significant statistical differences amongststudents of the college of education regarding the level of psychological pressureand psychological stiffness ascribed to the sex variable and in favor of malestudents. In other words, psychological pressures and psychological stiffness arehigher amongst male students compared to female students.. -The study has recommended many results.
