Psychological Social Conflict and its Relationship with Depression among a sample of Damascus University student in the light of Sex and Study specialization variables

This research aimed to know the relationship between psychological social conflict and depression among Damascus University students whether existing any significant differences between the means of psychological social conflict and depression degrees with respect to male and female, Science and Literate Students. The sample of the research consisted of (350) students both sexes, (165) male and (185) female students. The researcher used psychological social conflict and (BDI-II) scales. Validity and reliability of both tools were concluded. The results revealed that, there was a significant positive correlation between Psychological and social conflict and depression. The results also revealed that significant differences were observed between the means of psychological social conflict and depression between male and female students for the female. Also it showed that is no significant differences between the means of psychological social conflict and depression among Science and Literate Students

The effect of relationship conflict in the organizational commitment of Members of the academic staff at Tishreen University

This study discusses the effect of relationship conflict in the organizational commitment of the academic staff at Tishreen University and, accordingly, this research aims to determine the degree of influence of relationship conflict in the organizational commitment level, Determine the effect of demographic variables (gender, experience, age) in the relationship conflict among them. The researcher adopted the descriptive analytical approach in conducting the search. The sample consisted of search (290) of Members of the academic staff at the University of Tishreen.

The Carolingian Empire which was established by Emperor Charlemagne in (184AH / 800AD) remained strong throughout his life until his death in (199AH / 814 AD), but his son Louis the Pious (199-226 AH / 814-840 AD) who succeeded him to the throne was unable to preserve the Empire. So, he divided it between his sons following the steps of the Franks. This division led to the outbreak of the civil wars Inside the Carolingian Family. The situation aggravated terribly after his death which led to the division of the Empire between his three sons under theTreaty of Verdun, but wars and political conflicts have continued between the three Kingdoms. These conflicts in the Carolingian Empire will be the subject of the study.
