This research deals with the relationship between the empowerment of
workers and the quality of work life in the telecommunication sector in Syria. The
objectives of this study are to determine the nature of the relationship between the
empowermen
t of workers and the quality of work life, and to determine the best
form of empowerment of employees required to achieve the quality of work life in
the organizations under study. The most important result of the study was that there
is a significant relationship between the empowerment of employees’ variables
including, delegation of authority, participation of workers in decision-making,
participation of workers in the ownership, encouragement of workers and the
appreciation of their ideas and suggestions, and the quality of work life in the
concerned organizations. The study also indicates that the appreciation of
achievement is the most variable of employee empowerment linked to the quality of
work life, followed by participation of workers in the property, and then the
delegation of authority. The study shows that the family life of the individual was far
from the concern of the companies under study. Moreover, noting that most
companies have a strategy for the delegation of authority and there is a limited
participation of the employees in decision making, healthcare insurance program
was not implemented properly despite the fact that the wages and compensation
system is fair.
Therefore aim of this study was to investigate the impact of the dimensions of
organizational climate only the following (and clarity of purpose, effective
communication, justice, equity, recognition and appreciation, teamwork) to enable
workers w
ho are in direct contact with inmates in hotels-rated five stars in the
province of Damascus and its countryside. Adopted as a researcher on the
distribution of identification, the use of spss for statistical analysis.
This research aims to identify the relationship between the
leadership attitudinal and Empowering Employees in the
Public Authority for hospital Damascus, where he is a
merger between the leadership in general and situational
leadership for managers in particular, and allow workers to
the most important issues that help business excellence.
The researcher addresses the role of enabling employees to increase job
satisfaction in public hospitals of the Syria coast. The research aimed to study
the role played by the dimensions of selected empowerment and to identify the
extent of their
impact on job satisfaction in the provinces of Tartous and
Lattakia and then provide a set of proposals for the managers of these
hospital,to increase the degree of job satisfaction among workers in the those
hospitals.
This study aims to study the extent of applying the two dimensions of the empowerment
employees strategy(employees participation in decision-making and the justice and equity
of the top management) in the public industrial companies in Latakia. thi
s study was
applied in The General Organization of tobacco, textile Latakia Company and the General
Company of cotton threads of Latakia, To achieve the purpose of study a questionnaire has
been made and distributed to research sample which is(310) workers of these companies,
(265) of questionnaires out of total sample is returned and ready for analysis by the
statistical program (spss) in order to implementing the study goals.
In addition to questionnaire, a several interviews were made with the managers and
employees to aware precisely the work environment.
the main result of this study was, the public industrial companies lacks to minimum
required elements of the implementation of the strategy and workers of these companies
isn't contented and satisfied with the work environment and that is, doesn't encourage or
support workers to take part in decision-making process related to their job, as well as
there is injustice in of the work systems followed by top management.
Empowerment is considered as one of the modern management practices,
which occupies a great space of administrators' and decision-makers'
thinking, due to its effects & positive impacts which extend from the
organization and its employees to th
e community as a whole.
Also ( good governance ) is one of the most important administrative
issue which has lots of attention at the current period, and its importance
stems from the results and the positive effects of it;
Where Governance ensures rational use of available resources, fight
against administrative corruption, achieve the objectives of the state
according to the best standards, which contribute to improve the standard
of living for individuals and contribute to eradicate poverty and achieve
social development.
The researcher has studied the relationship between the two concepts of
ex- empowerment and good governance through the study of the
relationship of each of them with the ethics and development. The
community of study was the banking sector, both public and private,
while the sample was an intentional sample. The researcher distributed
(313) questionnaires, and the most important results were:
1. Governance is Applied significantly in the private banking sector
more than in the public banking sector.
2. the principles of empowerment are applied in public banking sector
more than in private banking sector.
3. No statistically significant relationship between the empowerment of
workers and the degree of disclosure and transparency applied in
banks.
