The study aims to identify the level of psychosocial development for many ordinary and orphaned children, the effect of gender and the situation of the child [orphaned or ordinary] on the psychosocial development. method was used to a chive that the
analytical and descriptive. The researcher prepared a scale of psychosocial development in his dimensions [self- confidence, independence, initiative, achievement] and it has been confirmed to be true and proven. The sample used consists of [101] children from the fifth and sixth grade, in Latakia city. The results show that the sample has a moderate level of psychosocial growth in the dimensions of [self confidence and independence] and in above average in the dimensions of [initiative, achievement]. There were no statistically significant differences between the mean scores of males and the mean scores of females in levels of psychosocial development. But statistically significant differences in levels of psychical development scores between the means score of orphaned children and the mean scores of ordinary children in favor of ordinary children
The problem of interpretation of knowledge learned by multi-head self-attention in transformers has been one of the central questions in NLP. However, a lot of work mainly focused on models trained for uni-modal tasks, e.g. machine translation. In th
is paper, we examine masked self-attention in a multi-modal transformer trained for the task of image captioning. In particular, we test whether the multi-modality of the task objective affects the learned attention patterns. Our visualisations of masked self-attention demonstrate that (i) it can learn general linguistic knowledge of the textual input, and (ii) its attention patterns incorporate artefacts from visual modality even though it has never accessed it directly. We compare our transformer's attention patterns with masked attention in distilgpt-2 tested for uni-modal text generation of image captions. Based on the maps of extracted attention weights, we argue that masked self-attention in image captioning transformer seems to be enhanced with semantic knowledge from images, exemplifying joint language-and-vision information in its attention patterns.
This research tries to examine the concept of self within the framework of modern
philosophy and contemporary philosophy, in an attempt to highlight the role of this
concept in the formation of most of the philosophical doctrines from the Greek era
to the
contemporary philosophy, through modern philosophy.
In this research, we will attempt to study the formation of this concept in the
framework of modern and contemporary philosophy, to show the philosophers' interest in
this concept and the extent to which the concept is linked to the clarify their own
philosophy. Therefore, the research attempts to provide a follow-up reading of the concept
of self in a comparative historical context, in which we demonstrate that this concept is still
alive in contemporary philosophy, albeit with different names, such as reason, mind or
feeling.
We will conclude from this the importance of the concept of self in the philosophical
context, which still occupies an important space in the thinking of modern and
contemporary philosophers. Here we will try to ask several questions, including what is the
dualism of the soul and body. How can the soul be a logical synthesis, an emanated mind,
or a subjective feeling? In this research, we will try to answer these questions and other
questions that will appear in the context of the research.
This exploratory study
concluded that the level of basic thinking skills among the sample’s
members is low. These findings were the basis of the study in hands,
and encouraged the researcher to investigate them, since basic thinking
skills are es
sentials traits for the students in order for them to develop
critical and creative thinking skills as well as higher thinking skills, which
affects positively their academic achievements.
