The current research aims to identify the relationship between social adjustment of children and their degree of achievement. The impact of the sex variable is known in a segment of children whose families were displaced during the period of the Syrian crisis from the Damascus countryside to the city of Jaramana. The present research aims at studying the impact, which the US Occupation of Iraq has left on the children's social life and violation of their rights, through a field research study of a sample of Iraqi Refugee children and their families, curren tly staying in Damascus. The study is divided into five main parts, where the first part deals with the War on Iraq, its threats to children, pointing out the number of the refugees throughout the Syrian Governorates, and explaining the demographic, health and educational conditions of those children. The second part deals with the basic patterns of the research; explaining the importance of the research, its goals, enquiries and the patterned measures adopted, while defining the original community, the research sample, and the method adopted. The third part deals with a number of Arab and Foreign studies, pointing out the position of this research in relation to these studies. As for the fourth part, it brings in an analysis of the US Occupation^ impact on the Iraqi children, who are now refugees in Syria, as the fifth part reviews the basic results reached and all enquiries related.
The research tries to define the most important social factors which contribute to the decline of educational achievement in the schools of the first phase of the basic education stage. These factors have been clarified through a theoretical study an d a field study that was conducted in Lattakia city in the academic year (2011-2012). The theoretical study includes an explanation of the concept of social upbringing of the children, and the educational role that the family plays in the student’s life via the surrounding environment, and the methods of upbringing. The research also shows the importance of social relations at school between the teacher and students, the relation among friends at school in general and the influence of these relations on the students’ achievement. It yielded many results as to the social factors which contribute to the decline of educational achievement, the most prominent of which are: the low social level of the family; separation within the family; incorrect methods of upbringing; the negative effect of the television; abnormal relations with the friends; the passive character of some teachers.
This study aims to determine the skeletal problems in sagittal plane in patients with congenital hypodontia. In this study, 96 cephalograms were taken of Syrian coastal father and mother. This research aimed at knowing the relation between casual attribution, and scholastic Achievement Motivation on a sample of superior And ordinary students, and at knowing the differences between the two sorts of each sample the research depended o n the descriptive and analytic method by using casual attribution scale which has been designed by the researcher the sample was (288) students of males and females from the eighth grade at schools of superior And ordinary in Lattakia governorate: The results were as follows: There is a statistical significant positive correlative relation between attribution of (effort making) and scholastic Achievement Motivation of ordinary students students while there is no statistical significant correlative relation between the other casual attributions (the ability, the luck (chance), the task difficulty, (the mixed attribution) and scholastic Achievement Motivation. There is a statistical significant positive correlative relation between each of (the ability attribution, the effort attribution, the task difficulty attribution, and between scholastic Achievement Motivation of superior students, while there is no statistical significant correlative relation between, the luck attribution, and the mixed attribution, and scholastic Achievement Motivation. There are statistical significant differences between the mean scores of ordinary students responses and superior students ones according to casual attribution scale except for the mixed attribution, and there are differences according to scholastic Achievement Motivation scale in favor of the superior students. There are no a statistical significant differences between the mean scores of male students responses and female students ones according to both scales the casual attribution and scholastic Achievement Motivation.
