The last century has witnessed a great development in all areas, Health care services are constantly evolving including health education which is considered as a cornerstone in the prevention of diseases. Health education should start from primary health care centers which are responsible for ensuring the provision of health education not only for patients and their families but also to society as a whole. In order to achieve the desired objectives of health education in health centers, it must be desired supported by using the appropriate materials of health education, which effectively contribute to raising the educational process level and increase its efficiency. The optimal use of educational materials by competent person will help him to do his job efficiently with high quality. Educational materials helps in providing health information in interesting manner and create an ambiance of interaction and teamwork between the provider and beneficiary. Despite the importance of using health education materials in the process of providing health information , there are few foreign and Arabic studies and there are no studies in Syria that deal with this important side of health education process ( i.e : the use of educational materials). This study aimed to evaluate the use of health educational materials in primary healthcare centers in the city of Lattakia by all members of the nursing staff working in those centers, since each nursing health care provider plays a role as a health educator during the delivery of health services. The study was conducted in primary health care centers in the city of Lattakia , The sample consisted of 220 nursing and health care providers in 12 health center. The most important results were that health care providers use the educational materials available to them at the center, and there is a remarkable shortage in the availability of audio visual and sensual educational materials. Health care providers acknowledge the importance of using educational materials in the process of providing health information to the beneficiary. However, There are many difficulties facing them.

School health program is a series of services provided to students in the school age that aimed to acquire healthy habits that reflected on the daily behavior, and increase their ability to high scientific achievement. Objective: This study aimed to assess the level of implementing of the school health program in primary schools in Lattakia city. Tools and methods:The study sample was consisted of (140) principals distributors on (20) School, who were chosen by using stratified random sample method, wearing first and second circlefor academic year (2014-2015). The data collected by a constructed questionnaire; a pilot study was carried out to determine the validity and reliability questionnaire. The data analyzed through the application of descriptive statistical analysis that included (frequency, percent). Results:The finding revealed that level of implementing school health program was good in (28.37%), moderate in (56.74%), weak in(14.89%).
The aim of this study is to assess the spatial distribution of health centers in rural Lattakia governorate and to develop a scientific methodology to guide the growth of the health sector by identifying the needs and adequacy of the primary health care centers according to the spatial distribution of the population within these rural areas using spatial statistical techniques in GIS. In order to achieve this objective, a spatial database was created, including the population centers, the primary health care centers (health centers) with the population served by them, as well as a group of fields on the specifications of these centers in terms of ownership, floor space and human cadres. A number of quantitative and spatial tests were conducted in order to measure the fairness of the distribution of health centers according to the population distribution and determine the need, while attempting to find an initial guidance on the locations of the supporting centers according to quantitative and spatial analysis And then measure the degree of improvement according to the study indicators. The result of this research was to describe the current status of the distribution of health centers in the northern Latakia countryside, identify areas of weakness and inadequacy, propose supporting centers and develop an effective guideline for assessing and improving the placement of primary health care activities in rural areas.

Data collected from October 2013 to March 2014, according to note form to evaluatethe performanceofnursesat administrating vaccines , and aquestionnaire to assess information of nurses, and a questionnaire to assess parents' satisfaction with the nurses' performance.This study aimed to assess the quality of nurses' performance in conducting of vaccination at health centers in Latakiacity.The most important results of this study that the quality of performance for most nurses was average in conducting vaccination. This study aimed to assessing the role of school administration in health education in basic education schools in Lattakia city. The researcher used analytical descriptive method. The questionnaire was used to collect the study data from 30 principal s, who were chosen by using simple random sample. The findings indicated that the degree of the role of the school administration in health education in basic education schools of Lattakia city was low average as a whole is (2.42). The degree in achieving the means of health and safety was low average is (2.58), securing good environment suitable for good nutrition was low average is (2.25), and health culture was the lowest average is (2.10). Where achieving hygiene was the highest average is (2.78). This study recommended exploiting and following the applying of the health education programs. Developing the health culture programs of the school pupils and activating the role of health guide in school health field by holding seminars, training courses and sessions.
The cooperative learning is teaching techniques that came in the contemporary educational movement, which researches and studies have shown its positive impact in the academic achievement of pupils and their contribution to building together social tools they have, and gives pupils with a significant impact on their teamwork skills today and in the future. The present study aims to investigate the impact of the use of research collective of cooperative learning in the collection of basic fourth grade in science and health education pupils strategy, and to achieve the objectives of the research were taken random sample size / 100/ pupils of pupils fourth grade primary city of Latakia, and dish them achievement test before start implementing educational program as a test before me, and after the application of the educational program as a test after me. Search and ended the following results: -The existence of differences between the average scores of the experimental group and the control group average grades at a level of significance (0.05) after the application of the educational program, to test academic achievement in the dimensional measurement, and these differences in favor of the experimental group. -The lack of differences between the average scores of the experimental group males and females average score of the experimental group at the level of significance (0.05) after the application of a tutorial on test academic achievement in the dimensional measurement.
