This research aims at identifying the Extent to which secondary stage history teachers practise critical thinking skills (of the combined skills and each single skill) as perceived by themselves, and through classroom observation. Moreover, the research aims at identifying the relationship between the questionnaire results and observation cards results (of the combined skills and each single skill).
This research aims to identify the level of Perfection Teachers of History at the Secondary level for Effective Teaching Skills ,and to achieve the aims of the study, the researcher prepared a questionnaire as a tool in a poi of history teachers in city of Latakia, and note card as a tool in the evaluation, each consisting of(25)skill, it was appiled to the teachers of the research sample after reliability and validity of each, the research sample consisted of )57(history teacher in the city of Latakia, research found that the history teachers of the sample may have Perfection the skill of (11)out of (25) skill, this result indicates a low level of mastery in the light on the test representative degree of workmanship (66,66)% and above, the study recommended that the practice of history teachers in all grades and skills of effective teaching in the classroom, and the need to hold training courses for them in order to brief them on recent trends in effective teaching skills.

A questionnaire contained (34) statements was used to achieve the aim of the research. the research was applied on a random sample of biology teachers in the Secondary stage consisted of (126) teachers. The results of the research showed that the degree of problems of teaching and achieving skill-objectives from the viewpoint of biology teachers was high, the mean was (3.27) . In addition, the strongest degree of the problems was that the related to the educational environment and teaching techniques, while the degree of the problems related to the student, teacher, curricula was medium. the researcher also found that there was no significant statistical differences between the means of the degrees of the biology teacher's answers about teaching and achieving skillobjectives in biology subject according to (gender, qualification, years of experience, training courses) variables. The researcher suggested the necessity of conducting training courses aim at supervising teachers and enhancing their skills and teaching experience, and the necessity of preparing and improving the abilities of the educational environment and providing the needed teaching techniques for the new curricula.
