This study aimed to identify the impact of Computerized Management Information Systems on the performance of workers in the Establishment of Telecommunication in Tartous, to achieve the study's objectives a Questionnaire of (28) paragraphs –for the purpose of data collection and measurement of study variables- was designed and developed. Banking information systems are essential necessities imposed by economic, social and technical developments which taking place in the banking market world, where these systems and techniques have an impact obviously on the banks because it depends on the digital technology to deliver the banking services to their applicants , which has led to increase the quality and effectiveness the performance of services , processes and marketing banking mix and make it more efficient and effective which will be increasing and improving customer satisfaction for banking services applying. Thus information systems play major role among private banks in Syria, through their ability to improve the marketing performance of the bank and provide services and products of high quality and low costs by redesigning operational banking, customer contact quickly and provide significant data and information for customers consumption patterns efficiently and effectively, which enabled the bank managers to take advantage of this information in develop of plans and programs for improvement the quality of the banking services performance provided, and increase the degree of satisfaction and loyalty among customers by focusing on the efficiency and skill of banking services staff, in this case we can facilitate the process of delivering the service to customers in the right way.
Institutional theory has gained special interest in management accounting research. Some research in management accounting literature tries to depict the change in management accounting systems using elements both from institutional and contingency theories. However, some other research tries to examine the integral impact of institutional and contingency factors on the use and design of costing systems. This research aims at exploring the complementary impact of both institutional factors, informed by new institutional sociology, and other inter- organization contingency factors on the use and design of costing systems in the General Establishment of Drinking Water in Tartous. A longitudinal case study is used in this research, and qualitative data are collected using personal interviews, observations, and examining company documents. The results of this research show that the use and design of costing systems in the case being investigated are particularly influenced by institutional pressures and inter-organizational factors, top management support, the availability of trained staff, and the co-operation of other departments.
