Ornamental plants considered one of the modern plantation, which should be introduced in the future agricultural development plan confirmed by field studies for the most important ornamental seed plants as a samples for data collections. Through information and field data it can be concluded that, most of nursery's of ornamental plants were in a small size (less than 2.5 hectare) in comparison with some other propagated plants due to the absence of specialization. We observed a shortage in a propagated plant materials especially cut-flowers which considered the most important product. This research observed also many problems facing the producers leading to high production cost: preliminary materials, agriculture and propagation materials, expert workers beside obstacles in exporting and absence in observation and governmental help.

The Ornamental Plants (Altlfona) of important economic cultivations were introduced to the recently Syrian agriculture "as one of the most important alternative cultivations, especially" in the coastal strip, as a prospective areas for the spread of these agriculture This research has concentrated on the economical properties and the profits resulting from Carnation plantation in Latakia Governorate studying the productivity cost and the indicatives of economical feasibility based on data and statements gathered from site of research (Arab Almelik),and relying, in determining wages and materials costs, on the current market prices in 2015. In this research, we have sought to achieve the following targets: - Studying the reality the production of Ornamental Plants in the Syria, in general, and Latakia Governorate, in particular, during the period from 2005 to 2013. - Calculating the productivity cost of Altlfona plants in Latakia Governorate. - Making an economical evaluation of Altlfona plants in Latakia Governorate. In conclusion, we have reached the following result: • Totally achieved net profit per annum from one greenhouse of Altlfona plantation amounted to 668212.7Syrian Pounds. • Profitability Coefficient in proportion to invested capital has amounted to 27.19% and to 49.67% in proportion to the productivity cost. • Time indicator of Capital recovery for Altlfona has amounted to 3.67 years.
Water sources in Syrian coastal area have a great importance due to the variety of the sources and the urgent needs to water for drinking and irrigation. Therefore great efforts are made to protect water sources from contaminants. This research aim ed to study some contaminant indicators in some drinking water sources in the Syrian coastal area. The study included determining the concentrations of nitrates, nitrites and some heavy metals including lead, cadmium and zinc in water samples taken from five sources of water distributed from north Lattakia to north Tartous. The results showed that the concentrations of nitrate, nitrite and heavy metals differ depending on the water source. However, all these concentrations were lower and within the acceptable limits of Syrian standard for drinking water. The study concluded that water resources in the coastal area are distinguished with their relative purity and contaminants little reach.
According to the chemical pollution danger in general and its danger on groundwater wells in agricultural areas particularly the inhabited ones , the scientific study was implemented to determine the concentrations of some ions in water wells withi n the area of Hraesoon; In addition to, monitoring their changing values which indicate the rate of chemical pollution in the study area due to existing activities. The search involves a monthly periodic physical and chemical analyzes in the invested wells in Hraesoon area , Banias city for a whole year. starting from September 2011 till August 2012 by choosing ten invested wells disterbuted in the area. The study includes the changing of temperature ,pH, electrical conductivity, and the group of negative ions (nitrate NO3 -, phosphate PO4 3-, sulphates SO4 2-, chloride Cl-) in addition to positive ions (ammonium NH4 +, Sodium Na +). The values of the studied ions have demonstrated a clear disparity in each month for the samples taken from the same wells, due to the agricultural ,human activities and climatic conditions that prevailed during the sampling dates. The recorded results show cases of chemical contamination in the water wells studied not identical the Syrian standard for drinking water (2011-2012) portend a lot of health and environmental risks, especially that many of those wells are used for drinking purposes.
During the last twenty years there was an increased interest to large extent in crowing up the fruitful trees all over the world. That is a natural result of knowing its high feeding value beside its being good source for income. Due to its economical importance, there was variety of searches and studies which approached its farming.
