This research focuses the Euro-Mediterranean partnership in terms of the history of this relation between the Arab and the European sides, and the development of this relation and the agreement between these parties. It also studies the motivations of both to build a partnership between them, the political and security consequences of such partnership, and the factors that affect it. This research also addresses the US role in this Arab-European relation, and the future of this partnership in the light of regional and international changes and under signs of the new world order.

WLANs have evolved into the best choice in a number of situations such as government institutions and airports, but because of the open transport in these networks increased the possibility of security attacks, which required the use of security prot

This research examines and evaluates the impact of security protocols on WLAN performance in order to select the optimal protocol, the impact of these protocols on network performance has been evaluated by adding those Protocols to open source GloMoSim environment, And recent simulation results show that the performance of these protocols are varies according to the environment applied within them, noting that there is no effective Protocol in all environments, i.e. the suitable Protocol in an environment may be unsuitable in other ones. After comparing performance results in simulations with performance results in the real network, we can see that the best performance protocol is WEP. Also, The best protocol for both performance and security is the WPA2. Hence, our choice to one of the security protocols depends on what we want to secure in the level of protection and the performance of the network.

This paper is an attempt to review some of the reasons which underwrite, first, philosophic and, second, political thought in ancient Greece. I begin with a review of some of the theories and laws by some of the most prominent Greek legislators, star

Speaker gestures are semantically co-expressive with speech and serve different pragmatic functions to accompany oral modality. Therefore, gestures are an inseparable part of the language system: they may add clarity to discourse, can be employed to
facilitate lexical retrieval and retain a turn in conversations, assist in verbalizing semantic content and facilitate speakers in coming up with the words they intend to say. This aspect is particularly relevant in political discourse, where speakers try to apply communication strategies that are both clear and persuasive using verbal and non-verbal cues. In this paper we investigate the co-speech gestures of several Italian politicians during face-to-face interviews using a multimodal linguistic approach. We first enrich an existing corpus with a novel annotation layer capturing the function of hand movements. Then, we perform an analysis of the corpus, focusing in particular on the relationship between hand movements and other information layers such as the political party or non-lexical and semi-lexical tags. We observe that the recorded differences pertain more to single politicians than to the party they belong to, and that hand movements tend to occur frequently with semi-lexical phenomena, supporting the lexical retrieval hypothesis.
