This study was conducted in Syrian Coast to investigate infectious bovine Kerato- Conjunctivitis (IBK) in cattle. A total of 1000 cows were investigated clinically and bacteriologically against the disease. 128 ( 12.8%) of the cows were infected. 84 (15.84%) of the cows belong to Fideo Station, 24 ( 9.6%) to Lattakia villages and 20 ( 9.09%) to Tarttus villages. Highest infection rates (14.54%) were recorded in animals reared outdoors. Recorded clinical signs were congestion of conjuctiva with ocular discharge, blepharospasm, edema and ulceration of the cornea. The clinical signs varied according to severity from mild to severe. Several species of bacteria were detected: Moraxella bovis (n=64). Topical and parental treatment using Ciprofloxacin gave good result eliminating the infection. The study recorded reducing milk production ( 30-50%) and body weight ( about 25 kg for every infected animal).

This study aims to define bird species that use artificial lakes in Syrian coast, and evaluate their population size for management and protection of wildlife. Four different sites were chosen in Syrian coast, which considered the most important ar tificial lakes. Point counts method was used in bird survey in November, December, January, February, March in 2011. 15 waterbird species were recorded belonging to 9 family and 6 order. Wading birds were the main component of waterbird (60% of all species) in Syrian coast. Populations size was 1 to 300 individuals. Diversity of birds and their Populations were greatest in sites which are rich in food ( especially fish). The results showed a difference in composition of bird communities in studied sites.
This study aimed to identify the impact of career management and demographic variables on organizational commitment of employees in a number of industrial companies in the Syrian coast, where the researcher followed the descriptive approach that fi ts the nature of the research, was relying on deliberate soft sample of (100) factor in the companies mentioned, data were analyzed and test hypotheses using a computer program SPSS 20. the researcher concluded to the following results: there is a positive and a weak correlation between the career management and organizational commitment in the companies under study, and this study found a positive and a weak correlation between the (promoting, job enrichment and training) and organizational commitment, and This study found no significant differences between the answer of respondents by sex and age, witch mean there is no differences between male and female responses, and there is no differences between the answer of the respondents according to age groups.
This study was done on the records of 564 milk cows during the period 2004-2007 .Those cows were dismissed for many reasons and in different ages. The range of dismissing age is between 3-6 years. The ratio of dismissing of those cows was between 20-25% . The rate of dismissing was high in the first lactation season . It reached 27,43% for the years 2004-2005, and 24,45% for the years 2006-2007. The highest percentage of dismissing was in the first month of milk seasons .It reached 34,49% in the years 2006-2007.
This research aims to find out the impact of some internal factors such as the environment and appropriate and its role in increasing the turnout of shoppers on shopping centers in the Syrian Coast, thus find out the extent of influenced of demand for shopping centers by these two factors. Research primary information were collected through a questionnaire was distributed to an appropriate sample of shopping centers attendees, the data were analyzed by the SPSS statistical program. After the study and analyze the research reached to some of the important results: 1- There is a clear Correlation between the clean and comfortable shopping center environment and also good convenience on the one hand and increasing turnout for shopping centers in the Syrian coast on the other hand. 2- The research confirmed that there is a shortening of attention to aspects of the environment and appropriate in the shopping centers located in the Syrian Coast. 3- The research found some observations as well such as lack adequate and varied restaurants in shopping centers, and lot of shoppers they don’t consider the studied shopping centers as a major shopping destination.
