The aim of this research is the determination of the appropriate conditions for extracting collagen by acidic method from remnants of skins of sheep, cows, and chickens. The results showed that acetic acid is the best among the various organic acids, for extracting collagen of these skins during 48 hours, at concentration of 0.5 M and the ratio, acidic: skin (6:1).

This research aimed to determine the economic scales of production and different product values, and the difference between the true sizes and its parallel economic areas in the midregion of Jordan. The econometrics analysis was used for the cost functions of sheep, goats, and cows production in midregion of Jordan. The data were analyzed by linear regression using suitable economic models. Total production functions of sheep were determined, and the average productivity was derived to determine the economic scales in order to minimize the average productivity cost of sheep, goats and cows. For the sheep, the product value was about JD 16649.59 for 419 sheep, with average cost of one JD is 0.522 JD. Marginal cost function was derived from the total production cost function, with the equality marginal cost function to parallel price in order to reach the scale of maximize profit. The production value was 18251.49 JD for 460 sheep and average JD cost of 0.56. The present productivity scale was 157sheep which was 262 sheep lower than the productivity scales for economic efficiency and 303 sheep lower than that for maximize profit.
This study aimed to provide an assessment of some anatomical characteristics of the formal comparison to the kidneys of dogs and sheep by studying of macroscopic anatomical differences and morphometric measurement between the studied kidneys . (20 ) Kidneys were taken randomly during the slaughter of ten heads of sheep in the local slaughterhouses, regardless of gender and age , Animals were clinically free of diseases and (20) kidneys were taken from ten local stray dogs and regardless of gender and age , Animals were clinically free of diseases . the study showed the presence of Morvomitrih differences in kidney (length – width - thickness - weight) and some anatomical variations (renal pelvis - renal Columns )between the kidneys of sheep and dogs. The study pointed out there are many similarities between the kidneys of sheep and dogs whereas revealed the length of the dogs kidneys.
This study was conducted on domestic pigeons and back yard chickens populations in many regions of Syrian Arab Republic using techniques of isolation on chicken embryo and cell culture. The birds were suspected to be infected by pox virus through clinical symptoms by the presence of lesions in warts and scars on Different areas of the face as the comb, wattle, the corner of the mouth and eyelids and other areas of body and we notice presence of Diphtheric lesions on the mucous membrane of the oral cavity in many cases.
The dissolution rate of Iron and Titanium from Syrian basalt rock was studied by hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, mixture of hydrochloric acid methanol, sulfuric acid methanol solutions. The effects of temperature, time of digesting and concentra tions of acids have been investigated, the ratios of solid to liquid and stirring speed were constant (S/L=0.02). It has been clear that when the mixture of hydrochloric acid and methanol (100:50(V:V) HCL:CH3OH) was used, the best dissolution for both iron and titanium was obtained when we digested the rock and it took 6h at 100 ˚C where as the concentration of hydrochloric acid and methanol were [HCl]=11M, [CH3OH] =0.92M, the resulting ratios of dissolution of iron and titanium in the mentioned conditions were 75.53%, 63.19 % respectively.
This study aimed to achieve the quantitive estimation of costs, returns, efficiency and income economic indicators of sheep breeding. Tow sources of data were used ,Questionnaire of random sample of breeders included (374 case) in the study area as primary data and MOAAR(annual agriculture statistical ), Database of NAPC, as secondary data.
