The study aimed to identify the degree of contribution to the national education teachers in educating students with challenges of globalization in the cultural dimension ( cultural , ethical , Media ) . The researcher used the descriptive analytical method was conducted among a sample consisted of (49 ), a teacher and a school in secondary schools in the city of Damascus was pulled randomly. The study recommended the need to develop teacher preparation programs and training in order to cope with the rapid changes.

This study aims to know the reality of the role played by the visual media to educate the youth cultural challenges incurred by globalization,
and demonstrate the positive aspects of this role and the ways to strengthen them , and deficiencies and w
ays to avoid them .
Use the search descriptive approach / analytical , relying resolution is an essential tool for information gathering, and distributed to a sample of students in the fourth year at the College of Education at the University of Damascus specialty ( classroom teacher , education, psychology, psychological counseling ), for the academic year 2011/2012 as a model for young university , consisted The sample of 150 people , 15 % of the original community of 1002 students and students, of whom (43) classroom teacher , ( 32 ) Education , ( 30) Psychology , ( 45 ) psychological counseling .
After analyzing the results of the questionnaire and make the necessary comparisons , according to research found academic disciplines to a set of conclusions , including :
1 - The visual media awareness among young people ( male and female) of the risks and challenges of globalization from the perspective of male and female.
2 - affect the visual media in educating the young university challenges incurred by the culture of globalization, in all aspects, but focuses on the personal side , and accounted for 28.41% , and the social aspect where the rate of 27.93 %, while the national side and humanitarian has not received the attention itself.
Based on these findings , a set of proposals focused on :
- The need for universities to disclose the means by which exposure material weakening of cultural identity and national youth university ,
And strengthening of the media that broadcast material calls on young people to maintain their cultural identity.- The need for cooperation between the university and media organizations , in order to prepare special programs for educating young people culturally , the dangers of globalization, and alternative programs what they are seeing in the channels that display materials affect the cultural identity and national youth campus.
The research aims to know the standards of cultural identity which
are suitable for students of basic education, and know the degree of
the existence of these standards in the social studies from the point
of view of the teachers of the first cycle of basic education in Hama
city.
The research aims to identify the degree of knowledge and
recruit teachers for thinking strategies beyond the knowledge in the
education of excelling students in Damascus, mentally, knowing the
significance of differences in the degree of their kn
owledge and
their employment of these strategies depending on the variables
(training courses, educational qualification). The sample of the
research was (53) teacher, has been selected in the manner intended
by the valiant minor for high achievers, as applied to them to
identify knowledge and recruit teachers for thinking strategies
beyond the cognitive, which are prepared by the researcher after
verifying the validity and reliability.
The research aims to identify the concepts of citizenship
contained in the book of social studies to fifth grade of basic
education and the degree of contribution of teachers in their
development.
The researcher used the descriptive analytical me
thod , and has
prepared a list of concepts and setting the standard for analysis in
the light of the list, and then analyze the book, and then design a
questionnaire to measure the degree of contribution of teachers in
the development of the concepts of citizenship .
The purpose of the research The degree of practicing English teachers in Damascus
is based on the skills of scientific thinking in their classrooms, as well as the differences in
the degree of practicing these skills according to gender variables a
nd the number of years
of teaching experience. The sample consisted of (62) teachers, They were chosen by the
sample of the sample from the schools in Damascus city and applied the measure of
scientific thinking skills prepared by the researcher after verifying his sincerity and
stability.
The results indicated that:
1. The existence of a generally low degree in English teachers in the degree of
exercise of the skills of scientific thinking in their classrooms, and the degree of practice of
English teachers of the skills of scientific thinking subsidiary was as follows:
- A high degree of teachers in the exercise of the skill of scientific thinking related to
(gathering information).
- A medium degree for teachers in the exercise of scientific thinking skills related to
(concentration - memory - organization - analysis).
- Low degree of teachers in the exercise of scientific thinking skills related to
(obstetrics).
- Very low degree of teachers in the exercise of scientific thinking skills related to
(evaluation - integration).
2 - There are no statistically significant differences in the average grade of English
teachers in the degree of practicing the skills of scientific thinking in their classes
according to the gender variable.
3- There are statistically significant differences in the average grade of English
teachers in the exercise of scientific thinking skills on the total score of the scale and its
sub-fields according to the variable number of years of teaching experience for teachers
with higher teaching experience except for the following fields (concentration skill /
information gathering / analysis / integration / Evaluation), where differences were not
statistically significant.
