This research sheds light on a cultural problem, the contemporary researchers consider as one of the most important problems that contributed to the disintegration of cultural and cognitvevariation in our Arab society that revolves around identifying the cultural identity of this community through the relationship between the old cultural heritage of our society with the contemporary cultural heritage. For this reason, we tried very hard to observe the importance of Arab cultural heritage for the Arab intellectuals who raised the banner of the Islamic Arab Renaissance. They point out, in this context, divergent positions of these thinkers of the heritage among Salafi stream strongly advocates adherence to heritage and benefit from it, the contemporary stream calls to go about European modern thinking and go away from the heritage, and the third stream calls for taking cultural and cognitive aspects of the right of the Salafi and contemporary currents -that is, between tradition and modernity with reference to the most important factors that contributed to the failure of the Arab cultural renaissance project.
This study tried to examine Taha Abdul-Rahman’s position towards thecontemporary Arab Thought in terms of detecting the extent of seriousness of the application of the modernity concept. Modernity in the Arab culture was stuck between several differe nt ideological trends since the heritage of originality representsmaintaining of priorities for research in modernity. However, Taha Abdul-Rahman refuses arguments of Western modernityas a lesion to the Arab Thought and heritage, prompting him to build an intellectual project based on innovation within the Arab-Islamic culture. The starting point was the idea of the Arab deliberative field. To hit conclusions, suchresults and generalizations cannot be reliable since it only included rooting idiosyncratic side of the Arab culture. The research shows within this context that itcannot accept these results and generalizations because Taha Abdul-Rahman based on the primitive field which did not cover allthe areas of the Arabic heritage.
Rationality is by far the luckiest philosophical concept in so far as its controversial status is concerned. It is also one of the terms most liable to rejection, criticism and analysis. Hence, our paper is an attempt to unscramble the controversy re lating to tuning the term of rationality into a concept that denotes multiple significations in the era of modern philosophy, and which are considered the real foundation of what today's world has reached in its intellectual, scientific and social aspects. According to this terminological and conceptual context, we have tried in this paper to shed special light on the genealogy of the concept of rationality, its origins and evolution as a trend in modern European thought, given that it is a signifier that denotes the priority of the mind, and which derives from various meanings that are complementary at times, yet contradictory at others, whereby carrying multiple significations, that vary in accordance with its field of use. With a certain degree of special attention, we have also tried to glean some of the most basic meanings associated with the term of rationality. We hope that this way we may be able to clarify the obscurity that engulfs the term, something which has caused its ambiguity, and thus our confused understanding of the philosophy of modernity.
It seems that the concept of experimentation in terms of conceptual semantics and conventional meanings is essential, inevitable, due to frequent trading and its prevalence among researchers, specialists and non-specialists in addition to what the co ncept of diversification in procedural techniques and tools on the one hand, and the maturity of intellectual and ideological dimension, on the other hand, this paper provides an illustrative study of the concept of experimentation from significant linguistic and idiomatic, Through its relationship with its associated concepts such as modernity, authenticity and alienation, for confirming that experimentation is not a concept, and that it is as much a reflection of attitudes or philosophical insights into Existentialism and the aesthetic and historical control the overall creative process.
