The research aimed to identify the degree of practicing Management by Values of the
Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City from the Teachers' point of view in their
Schools. The research also aimed to study the differences significance between
the average
points of the research sample of the Secondary Schools Managers according to the
following variables: (sex, scientific and educational qualification, years of experience),
and to achieve the objectives of this research, a questionnaire was built, consisted of (56)
has been applied on a sample of (403) teachers, during the academic year of (2017 - 2018),
also the current research used Descriptive analytical method and to approve the
questionnaire validity, it was showed to a jury of (7) of specialized adjudicators in this
domain. Its constancy was assured by applying it on a pilot sample consisted of (82)
teachers, in Lattakia City through Cronbach – Alpha Reliability (0.952), and (0.473) at
Spearman-Brown.
The final results showed that the degree of practicing Management by Values of the
Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City the from Teachers' point of view, came
middle rated , the result also showed no statistically significance differences in the degree
of practicing Management by Values of the Secondary Schools Managers in Lattakia City
of the sample members' point of view, according to the variables (sex, and scientific and
educational qualification), While there were statistically significance differences due to the
Variable experience, in favor of teachers with experience of more than (10) years. The
research provided some suggestions such as preparing training programs to train
Secondary Schools Managers on Management by Values, also conducting other researches
about applying Management by Values theory at Schools.
This research aims to identify the application of knowledge management processes in
secondary schools and their relation to the performance of their teachers from the point of
view of the teachers in Lattakia city, and to identify the effect these
variables (kind, the
scientific qualification and educational, the experience, age) on the application of
knowledge management processes and teachers performance. The present research used
the descriptive analytical approach, and to achieve the objectives of the research,
questionnaire has been consisted of (37) statements for the application of knowledge
management processes, and a questionnaire consisted of (26) statements for performance
of their teachers, were applied on sample (378) Teaching Staff Members during the
academic year of (2016 - 2017). The present research used the descriptive analytical
approach, Validity of the questionnaire was established though a jury of (9) of the teaching
staff of educational at Tishreen University.
The research results showed that the degree of application of knowledge
management processes in secondary schools and the performance of their teachers were
middle rated from the point of view of the teachers, also results showed there is a positive
correlation between application of knowledge management processes in secondary schools
and the performance of their teachers, and is a positive effect to interaction between these
variables (kind, the scientific qualification and educational, the experience, age) and
application of knowledge management processes and teachers performance. The research
suggested given more important for knowledge management in the schools, ant puts the
clear path to storing the knowledge, and used it in developing the performance work in
schooling.
The purpose of this research is to know the reality of the use of educational
techniques and laboratory devices in secondary vocational schools in Lattakia
Governorate, The research adopted descriptive analytical method through a questionnaire
con
sisting of (50) words distributed on four axes, has been verified the validity and
stability through appropriate statistical methods, And then applied to the study sample
which consisted of (127) teachers, assistant teachers and vocational teachers in a number of
vocational secondary schools in Lattakia Governorate during the second semester of the
academic year (2016-2017), The most important findings of the research:
-The degree of ownership of the competencies of the use of educational techniques
and laboratory devices in vocational schools and the degree of use of these techniques and
devices medium.
-The degree of obstacles to the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices
in vocational schools and the degree of requirements for the development of this use is
high.
- There were no statistically significant differences in the identification of the reality
of the use of educational techniques and lab equipment in secondary vocational schools in
Lattakia Governorate according to the variables of the place of study and the job title.
- There were statistically significant differences in the possession of competencies in
the use of educational techniques and laboratory devices in vocational schools and the use
of these techniques and devices according to the variable training courses for those who
followed one or more courses. There were no differences regarding the obstacles of using
educational techniques and laboratory equipment in vocational schools.
The research concluded with a set of proposals aimed at developing the use of
educational techniques and laboratory equipment in vocational secondary schools in
Lattakia Governorate.
The research aims to detect the possibility of secondary schools management in the
city of Lattakia, according to total quality management from the perspective of teachers,
And to know the differences in attitudes towards management of secondary sc
hools,
according to the concept of total quality depending on the following variables (sex,
educational qualification, years of teaching experience). To achieve the objectives of the
research, a questionnaire composed was designed including (72) items distributed to the
seven areas (scholar strategic planning, the quality of teaching and learning processes,
Educational Evaluation, openness to the community, educational leadership actors,
organizational culture in the school, and information management at the school). The
questionnaire was conducted on a sample of (278) teachers, with (18%) percentage for the
academic year 2014-2015. Validity of the questionnaire was established though a jury of
(7) of the teaching staff of educational at Damascus and Tishreen Universities and the
Reliability was established by Cronbach – Alpha Reliability at lest (0.7).
The present research sought to find out the attitudes of a sample of teachers of public secondary schools towards early retirement, and to what extent these attitudes differ according to the research variables.
