This paper represents a study of all the major and sub influential factors that affect the process of placing concrete which has arbitrary nature and has not been stated clearly before; and the impact of these factors on the cost of a cubic meter of placed concrete.
The subject of this research is to evaluate the performance of the drilling bits used to reach the final depth of the well in regards to mechanical speed, (alpha) factor, the cost per meter and to recognize the bit that has the highest performance . Obtaining such important info is vital for the successful planning and running of the potential exploration and appraisal wells in Saddad area. The efficient planning of the drilling operations results in decreasing the total drilling time which reflects in turn on the significant decrease in the total drilling cost.
The main objective of this research is to present a study on the design optimization of the 6-RUS Stewart platform. The geometric and kinematic models are calculated and the singular positions are determined, then its translation and orientation wor kspace are determining. The direct geometric model of the studied platform was determined by using a proposed hybrid method.

As result the possibility of changes occurrence in any project becomes considerable. There are many causes of change orders in construction industry. These changes, mostly causes time and cost overrun and managerial complications. The objective of this study is determining the main causes of change orders; arranging them according to their significance; and studying their effects on project’s cost and time. The owner or the engineer supervising the project is the party who is responsible for change orders in the project.
The most important characteristic of Massively Parallel Computing systems is the topology of the network that means how to connect the processors with each other so that provides fast data transfer and low cost. In this research, we will find new l ink networks that provide speed in the transport and low cost compared with other traditional networks for connecting processors. Interconnection networks are divided to be static networks so that fixed links between processors, while dynamic networks so that every communication between two processors owns more than one path. Each network differs from the other in cost which express the number of links within this network, and speed which express the network diameter and bisection. The network is best whenever the cost is less and diameter is less but bisection is larger. In this research I compared between these networks and then look for new networks through hybridization between core networks. After that I studied the specification of hybrid interconnections compared with its constituent core networks.
Many studies have tried to determine the impact of change orders on the cost and time of the project, which in turn leads to differences and disputes between contractors and owners. Where change orders dealt with in various engineering projects. T his search displays formal causes of change orders occurring during the life cycle of the project in Syrian coastal zone. Particular building projects are studied, and the most important impact on completion of the project indicators (cost_time) is discussed. Also identifies the party responsible for the change, and shows the weak points during follow the change order life cycle and provides recommendations for each of the responsible parties, stressing the need to monitor performance in order to manage change order and address the causes and impact alleviation. The prediction models were drafted at additional cost that may result from change orders.
