This paper deals with the insurance sector in the Syrian Arab
Republic during the period between 1990-2012, we studied the
impact of economic and demographic factors on the demand for life
insurance size.
It was considered the volume of life insu
rance premiums indication
of the size of the demand for life insurance, also we study the
impact of some determinants on the demand / income -
unemployment - interest rate - inflation - life expectations -
education - urbanization /. A statistical analysis by spss to study
variables program was carried out, in order to reach the most
important determinants affecting the insurance demand, income and
the inflation and the interest rate are the most effective determinant
in influencing the insurance demand, While statistically significant
for the rest of determinants effect does not appear.
The research aims at conducting a detailec comparison between
teaching Arabic to Speakers of other languages for specific purposes
and daily life usage.The study also showed an explanation of the
most prominent concepts and common terminology in t
his field in
order to ensure the clarity of their implications for scholars in the
field of teaching Arabic to speakers of other languages.
This study discusses the concept of quality of work life and Organizational
commitment to employees through the presentation of a theoretical framework of concepts
and the most important based on the relationship between the two studies in addition
to
strengthening theoretical study field studies . On the citizen service center in the province
of Damascus
The study aimed to find out the availability of the quality of work life in the
dimensions of the citizen service center to the province of Damascus and knowledge of the
regulatory level of commitment and the relationship between them.
Among the most important findings of the study and a positive and statistically
significant relationship with between the use of the quality of work life and organizational
commitment and vary depending on the elements of each varying degrees.
Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) have applications in many different areas of life, such as health care, environmental monitoring, and military and economic areas and in industrial automation and many other applications.
The development of these net
works and the improvement of their performance occupy an important place of interest in research centers and specialized scientific institutes. The interest in these structures as a way to improve the performance of these networks leads to good results in this area. The cluster structure is one of the most important structures that have received increasing attention over recent years.
This research suggested a modification of the structure of the cluster tree WSN dividing clusters into sub-groups, and each group of these sub-groups operates like a tree from a small amount of nodes. The results that have been obtained by means of simulation indicate a significant improvement in terms of reducing energy consumption and thus an increase in the lifetime of the network, as compared to traditional cluster tree WSN. But that was at the expense of slightly lower rates of transmission and delivery ratio in the nodes of these networks. This leads us to recommend using this method to build the networks used to monitor protected agriculture and other networks with low transmission rates.
The reducing of energy consumption for various nodes in wireless sensor networks
plays an important and essential role in the prolonging of the life of these networks. In
order not to be the energy consumption in some node is very high and in other
s is less or
very low, the choice of distribution algorithms of the nodes role, as a router node or
terminal nodes, and switching between them, plays an important role in prolonging the
lifetime of wireless sensor networks.
This paper presents an algorithm for the distribution of WSN nodes roles, including
allowing the applying of many tree patterns to a single network. This offers the potential to
alter the network nodes roles centrally by coordinator and switching between these tree
patterns whenever the need arises according to the indicators of energy consumption in the
nodes. The results show that the use of the algorithm leads to a significant improvement in
the network life ranges between 2 and 4 times, according to the allowing the nodes to sleep
and wakeup, or not, for different transmission rates where the scenarios have been tested
for ZigBee based wireless sensors networks using NS-2 simulator.
Ideas and social as well as cultural values associated with daily life in foreign films influence the behaviors and habits of viewers. The young are the most vulnerable because they are at the stage of forming opinions and testing values of their soc
ialization in childhood and adolescence. University students form the biggest group in society upon which a community is built. So it was necessary to study the impact of what is promoted in foreign films of values and behaviours on this category people. This research poses set of questions:
1. What is the quality of the movies that students prefer to see?
2. What are the most popular ways of watching foreign movies among university students?
3. Are university students watching foreign films affected by cultural aspects presented in the film?
4. Are university students watching foreign films affected by the social aspects presented them?
5. What is the effect of what is being presented in foreign films on the daily life of the undergraduate students viewers of these films?
This research was conducted on a random sample of Tishreen University students in Lattakia during academic year 2012-2013. The search presented the phenomenon of people's watching foreign films and analyzed it to identify the impact on audiences of cultural values, social and daily life style that are being promoted in foreign films. A questionnaire was designed, Data was analyzed using the SPSS20 software to reach results.
