This research deals with the phenomena of heritage in the Divan of "Brandishing of Tired Hands" of the poet , "MamdouhAdwan" which he drew from the religious heritage , such as calling the figure "Ali bin AbiTalib" , and from the historical heritage,
such as calling the figure "Saladin" , and the literary heritage , such as calling the figure "Alahtaih" and "Al-Mutanabbi" and others.
Researcher shows the presence of heritage in the poetry of Adwan by intertextuality with the Koran , and with poetry, and shows influenced language of the divan by the language of heritage , and also addresses the poet's employment of the heritage in his divan, and concludes the results reported in its place of the research.
This research provides a presentation of the intertextual concept
as a basic artistic element in the novel's structure, according to
the structural concepts, then it provides the intertextual analysis
in Hanna Meena's "Al Mostankaa", presenting the types of
intertextual, and the other texts that this novel was deeply
affected by.
Through analysis, we will figure out the cultural and the aesthetic
effects that the intertextual gave to this novel.
The research deals with city image in the divan of the poet Abdul-Aziz Al-mukaleh.
It searches for the objective dimensions of the image and shows its importance and variety
devoting itself for the image in a way related to general native, national
and human issues.
It also deals with the aesthetic dimensions of the city image, and investigates its
language, music and how it can get benefit of the heritage in a multi-dimensional way.
The research has tried to define the features of the city image at Al-mukaleh, which
are related tightly to Yemen and its history, and that has made the city image
– at Al-mukaleh – more distinguished than that of other Arab poets, like Al-Bayani,
Abdul-Sabour, Hijazi and others.
The researcher has also referred to the poet’s success in conveying his message to the
reader, and what helped him to do that was a clear linguistic form, which we can say about
it: “ easy but rather impossible “. And an honesty of an intellectual attitude which is equal
to the saying: “what comes from the heart pours in it “.
This research aims to identify Mamdouh Odwan's Styles of poetic intertextuality ,
depending on a first reading of concept of " intertextuality" and its role in providing the
process of creativity with traditional expressions that lead the modern te
xt to a level of
interacting with other texts. This interaction, furthermore, is denoted via the duality of
connection and disconnection sometimes based on copying and following ancient poetic
texts and neglecting or even negating them other times.
The poetic intertextuality in Odwan's is crystallized in three styles : connotation by
which the poet retains the morphological structure of old poems, relatively ; reference
through a word or a sentence of old poem and finally allusion that depends on symbolism
in achieving intertextuality with old poetry.
This paper will approach the aesthetics of those styles and their sub-divisions in
order to reach results that show the effect of poetic intertextuality on making the modern
poem open to ancient poetic heritage as well as employing it in a modern visionary
context.
