This study aimed to identify the concept of sensory marketing and its importance and the definition of the concept of impulse purchase decision, as well as to analyze the impact of sensory marketing on the impulse purchase decision among consumers. T o achieve this, the researcher conducted a survey on consumers of Seif beauty clinic in Lattakia governorate. The study reached a set of results, the most important of which was the existence of a significant relationship between sensory marketing on the one hand and personal, external and circumstantial factors affecting the impulsive buying decision among consumers of Seif beauty clinic products and preparations: The research also presented a set of proposals and recommendations that could help companies specialized in marketing such products to understand how to influence the consumer's buying decision, especially (impulse buying).
The aim of this work is to study the flow behavior of white Vaseline "which is used in pharmaceutical industry and Cosmetics" in statical state. The study was carried out on the white vaseline in the molten state under the effect of temperture, sh ear stress (τ), and shear rate (γ) by using capillary viscometer, then the corrections have been done to expermintal data. It was found from the obtained results that, real viscosity decreased with increasing real shear rate (γc). Also it was found that the vaseline is a pseudoplastic material (n<1). For determining viscous activation energy at constant shear rtae (Eγ) and shear stress (Eτ), the relationship between real viscosity (ηc) and (1/T) was studied. It was found that the viscous activation energy decreased with increasing the shear rate and shear stress, where the value of viscous activation energy reflectes the temperature–sensitivity of real viscosity. Elastic properties for vaseline were studied by determining the die swell ratio (B) (Barus effet), and it was found that (B) increased with increasing shear stress, but it decreased with increasing L/R ratio, while the temperature do not have any effect on (B). The time residence (tr) of vaseline in the die was deterimined and studied the relationship between (B) and (tr). Note: vaseline does not carry any kind of bacteria, because it is unsuitable medium for their growth.
An ethnobotanical study was carried out among the population riverine of the Izarène forest to enhance and safeguard ancestral knowledge of medicinal plants used in traditional pharmacopeia for the treatment of dermatological diseases. Using 480 ques tionnaire sheets, ethnobotanical field surveys were conducted during two campaigns (2013 to 2015). The determination of the different survey media was carried out using stratified probability sampling techniques. The ethnobotanical data were analyzed through the calculation of quantitative indices, such as Relative Frequency of Citation (RFC), Family Importance Value index (FIV), Fidelity Level (FL), Informant Consensus Factor (ICF), and the use-value of the Plant Part (PPV). The results show 62 useful plant species, belonging to 34 botanical families. The Lamiaceae family was the most represented (8 species, FIV= 0.037). The highest Relative Citation Frequency (RFC) (0.137) was recorded for Olea europaea L. Concerning the diseases treated, cosmetic use has the highest ICF (0.96), the leaf was considered to be the most used part of the plant (PPV=0.34) and the majority of the remedies were prepared under the form of a poultice. The results obtained could constitute a basis for further studies for the valorization of medicinal plants used against dermatological diseases through biological and phytochemical studies of the inventoried plants.
This study has been conducted to identify the levels of heavy metals (lead, cadmium, nickel, cobalt, copper, iron, manganese, and zinc) in the following spices: Nutmeg, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, nigella sativa, black pepper, cumin, coriander, curry, and mixed spices.
The aim of this study is to determine the concentration of caffeine in energy drinks available in Syrian market to ensure whether the caffeine concentration in them follow the FDA recommendation or not , and detection the presence of alcohols . Three types of energy drinks available in Syria are studied in this experiment. Caffeine content is analyzed and quantified by UV spectroscopy. Specific tests for alcohol hydroxyl are used to detect its presence and determine the alcohols type. This study has shown the existence of variable quantities of caffeine; however the highest percentage is existed in Marinas Turbo 51.81 micro gram/100 ml and the lowest percentage is existed in XXX L Flash Red 1.89 micro gram/100 ml. Research has shown that energy drinks have negative effects on their users , especially the youth.A survey is done on a sample of 130 people in Alqadmous – Tartous. No alcohol is found in XXX L Flash Red and Power Horse, but it was found in Marinas Turbo.
